Bit quiet on Dessers guys, anyone any info? At 5m I'd rather we just spent another 2m and went for the Greek at Utrecht.

forget him then and move on to KRISTOVIC he by far a better CF than Dessers or Maja and actually has resale valueand can only get more lethal, 4 mill job done, we have on CF that breaks down regularly in Roofe, we don't need a other one, we need skilled reliable talent up front, Dessers is dead money all day long, would rather we spent 15 mill on Palma, Tillman and Kristovic, they are all good enough to play as CF's they have the correct attributes despite where they have been played to date, all 3 are clearly capable players with raw talent that will only get better with regular games, all 3 fit beale's system and are young enough to be sold on later for solid profit. Enough of the has beens, injury prone and rejects from other clubs, time to get serious about the attackers.

I'm glad it's made you think, but there's just something off with the guy and his injury history. The first knee injury he got was probably the worst sort of injury he could have picked up on his knee, and since then, he's had further trouble on the same knee. I'm too cynical to believe in coincidences, unfortunately, and that's why I'm questioning this one. There's no doubt he's a talented guy, but alarm bells are ringing with this guy.

I've got to admit I don't want to buy a main striker that has injury concerns. This is the position we need to get correct and if it takes another month to find the right one then so be it.

With so may what-ifs and what-could-have-been's in the past if we had fully fit strikers who were confident and capable, I really don't want to see us having to make do with with a makeshift front line again. Lessons need to be learnt and there's no point continuously making the same mistake by signing injury prone players.

But i will be very happy if signed surely our medical team knows if he'll be sound, he has also played 279 games in 8 seasons. he was out for a good bit with his knee injury. played 41 last season 32 this season but i still have a slight worry, that was you that done that big ben ?.
