The issue is we’ve lost the safety net of not having to go there and getting a result. I don’t see how our recent performances will lead to us winning 6/ 6 but we’ll see.

Unfortunately, I think we are likely to drop even more points based on not just recent performances, but the knowledge that our players tend to bottle it under pressure which they have previous for.

Worse fixtures we play same teams but they have more at home than we do which makes it easier IMO for them I don’t think they will drop many points and we will need to do something we haven’t done in a long time beat them when it matters.

We have given the momentum back to them, our recent form is not great so difficult enough to win remaining games, and don’t like this Ally McLeod philosophy of looking at fixtures and trying to predict where they might drop points.
For me Sunday was a massive blow and our chances of winning it.

3.CHs been run over for pace and ragdolled on regular basis -FACT

7. Ran ragged by 2nd bottom team in league who has NEVER beaten us before now - FACT
So statistics say we are bloody brilliant and best defence in league - you are having a laugh - I know the vast majority of fans/ viewers would say different
Our defence has failed us for seasons and it seems ok to accept it - sorry I love my team but cannot understand the backing that a less than ordinary defence gets!
PC must see this and hopefully next transfer window we will see changes - or its more of the same next season.

But, but, but, whose defense has been crumbling before our very eyes over the last 6 weeks? That would be ours! A defense which has contributed greatly to us losing the lead at the top, and allowing our biggest rivals to steamroller us in 45 mins of football ultimately leading to us not being able to beat them.
Like I said before, there is no defending this defense because it is dire.

I see a lot of folk here having a go at Goldson and Tav and while I agree they both need to go, so does that entire team. Since I heard that Lunny wasn't able to agree an extension, he has dropped back to playing how he did under MB.
Our team is made up of too many players who want to spend 5 mins on the ball and slowing the play right down and then moaning they have no pass on so hump it long like under MB.
I'm a big fan of PC but the last couple of games he has shown some serious errors in selection. If Sima starts he has to play where he had been effective (LW)
The fact RC could and should of had a few more is showing that our defence is the first thing that needs fixing in the summer and then replace that blank firing Dessers after! Rant over.

its turned into a shambles jim, i feel he's lost the plot a bit recently, today was made for balogun at the back and throwing men into the box to firce errors and scote goals, we watched cantwell run around again doing nothing, and he was one of the better players, why wasnt matondo playing, why was dowell playing, the list goes on, it was awful and the manager is complicit.

Totally agree. I think Butland will be away at the end of the season abd u wouldn't be disapointed if atav goldson and souttar went with him. Yilmaz might stay thankfully Barasic is going. Dessers runs about and puts in a shift but for 4 million that's not good enough. Add in Wright silva and the forgotten Lammers and it's another rebuild. Too many serial losers really quite shocking today.

If Dessers had taken his chances we would have won. He is a waste of a jersey. He has to go along with the entire defence and we need better than Lundstrum who has reverted to what he was like at Sheffield United.

Right, so I'm all for signing Scottish players if they are good enough and stated many times I'd of loved Ferguson or Doig and hopefully we get Barron.

He plays for Hearts and that affords him more space, etc as other teams don't play a flat back 10 against them. He signs for us and that space vanishes and he doesn't have much all else about him as if he was all that then Clarke would have him starting above Adams for Scotland but he doesn't.

bigbluejim, I'll tell you what, Shankland is doing that no one else in our team is doing, he's scoring terrific goals in our league, what more can any player do. They are a better team domestically than us. It pains me to say this, but we are gutless in these games apart from 2 or 3 players.
I am convinced that PC and the Board will act quickly after yesterday. We are lacking in more positions than I personally thought we were.
We need as a fan base to get rid of the opinion that proven Scottish League players are not good enough for Rangers, total bull, we need decent players, we have very few at present and paid millions for them, rant over folks,

It's pure mental that MB said he wanted to sit down with these players before they signed to see if they had it in them to play for a team our size and then in the presser he basically says that none of them are strong enough mentally (Butland excluded) honestly can't say a single player signed this window has excelled except the above. Lammers shows nice touches now and again turns a man but has no pace to get away from anyone and Dessers is just pure shocking
I feel he is now feeling the pressure as that game was awful to watch and all this clean sheet nonsense is P'ing me right off as Butland has been so damn busy in almost every game we have played so it's no the case that our defence is protecting him just that he's a brilliant keeper.

Okay so I know we all have our opinions about the current managers position but we are all Rangers and only want in or eyes, what is best for the club. Everyone will have their own opinions on what that should be but I'm going to tell you what I think about my great club.
I have seen a few fans on here stating that Europa league is our level and we should accept that! What a load of p**h that is, we are one of the best supported clubs in the world and on our run to the EL final we beat Dortmund who are consistently a CL team and sell players each season for fortunes. We beat Red Bull Leipzig who the previous season with the same team went to the Etihad and beat Man city and made the semi finals of the CL. So even though we don't have the finances of the big leagues we have shown we can compete and CL is OUR level.
Onto MB, I don't like the guy at all. Never wanted him near the club again and still don't. We need better than what he offers which isn't much. For those that defend him by saying he has the high win percentage blah blah blah, tell me what his win percentage in the big games are? Spoiler alert it's 0%. Now am I going to Ibrox and booing the team/ players. Spoiler no, however I will voice my displeasure about the decisions made by the man at the helm and our lack of play style which is evident for everyone to see.
Again these are my opinions about my great club and I am entitled to these as are you all but let's not kid ourselves that settling for second best will do as it will not. WATP and we make this club great!

The biggest issue for me is the lack of consistency in terms of team selection, formation and players roles in formation.
Examples being Cantwell and Raskin.
Cantwell is not a no10 for me, he's an advanced no8, similar to what gazza played and Arfield.
Raskin is a holding DM all day long.
Both these guys made Rangers tic last season but already you've seen them in roles that don't suit them. Playing as a no10 or covering the full backs is not the job these guys should be doing.
That buck stops at the manager.

Agree richhy that cantwell isn’t a 10 I think he’s best suited to left of a mf 3 with licence to play slightly forward to the other 2, so example raskin sits deep 6 and cifuentes to the right of him but with more defensive duties than cantwell opposite side. That for me is best mf 3.

MPH I think you need to take a leaf out of Mols book and start celebrating complete and utter mediocrity. You’d be a lot happier that’s for sure. The guy won us a £5M game (keeps a £6M signing on the bench though but Mols won’t talk about that) failed at every major hurdle, beatin by the worst celtic team in about 5 years, has no style, no tactical sense and a completely disjointed team with on average 3 players out of position every game and hasn’t stuck with the same lineup/ formation for more than one game since the start of preseason but hey. he won £5M ?.

High expenditure in the summer? FFP is always done over 3 seasons not one and we have done well ie player sales and Euro money you know since we are the only Scottish team getting co efficient for the league. Also what was spent in the summer was mainly recouped in transfers out.

Wee Ridvan has been improving game on game and I honestly think folk forget when young lads leave home for the first time and move to somewhere like Scotland it's a culture shock and on top of that had limited game time.
We spent really good money on him and he deserves a decent crack at making it, only way he should be allowed to leave is if we get a higher offer than we paid.

Dessers definitely cost us 100% as he scores what would be a sitter for any other forward on planet earth and the Tims get shaky but he screwed it and deserves the stick he gets as a remember a certain Sakala getting slaughtered for it too.
I was pissed with Cantwell, if I'm honest. He has gone into hiding for many games this season and yesterday was another. The boy seems more self-interested and think PC will be saying bye to him in the summer.
