My comment about the UBs falling into rank was at the singing of the billy boys. This is a banned song and would have got Rangers into a financial penalty.
A lot of songs that where sang are not songs I would chose, but are not on the band list.

95% of the stadium don’t sing, it just sounds like it,

if police began arresting people at football grounds ( not just rangers) for singing hate filled songs, even for breaching the peace this would soon stop

imagine losing your job or not being able to apply for one because you sang a song at football, that would soon have people thinking twice.

You may call me a bigot or worse? But singing and giving abuse to the opposition and taking it back should not be such a huge problem as long as it's over when game ends.
In the past at Old Firm games I've sung and given abuse to the opposition, but I've also had a drink with the same folk after the game with no I'll feelings either way.
P. S. Before you jump down my throat, I come from a mixed family, my father was Protestant and my Mother an Italian Catholic. In fact I have more Catholic relatives than Protestant. It was a great source of amusement on the supporters bus that I usually did not have to pay for fish suppers in the mostly Italian owned shops. (lots of them relatives of my mother. She and Lou Macari's Father were cousins) Any way I'm over 70 now and having supported Rangers since I was a child, I am not going to change my views now.
