What's the big clamour for Beale? I don't have an issue of him wanting to leave and go with Gerrard, but I don't get why some are so keen for him to return as manager? Would we be any better off than we are with Gio? Did his team not get pumped yesterday by Luton? Is he really any good? By all accounts a very good coach, but is he the answer?
Look, Europe has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster, and is totally unacceptable. We're on course to be the worst CL team in history, which again, is totally unacceptable. Some on here seem to think that isn't any big deal, but it is! We don't want that tag. If anyone is ok with that, they need to take a good, hard, long look at themselves in the mirror. Where is your pride?
Gio will keep his job? The board won't sack a guy who got us to EL final, won SC, and got us into CL. There's no way they'll sack him. Even If they wanted to, they can't afford to. He'll continue on, and some, like on here, will be unhappy at that, while others will be overjoyed, and that's how it is. However, It's how the players feel about this that worries me. Having fans disappointed with him staying means nothing. Having players disappointed he's staying (If the rumours are correct), well, that's a different thing altogether. That is trouble!
I think everyone on here knows I'm not happy with how things are going, but we're only 2 points behind them. They humped a poor hubs team yesterday, and all of a sudden, they're world beaters again. They're not! They're really not that good! Beating Motherwell today is a must. We need to keep winning, and when we get them at Ibrox, and we're still in the fight, we'll see where we really are in the league. The league is the most important. That's a given!

My opinion is they won't sack him. As long as he keeps us in the running for the league, they won't sack him. If that changes, then that's a different story, but until then, he's staying.

Regardless of how disappointed, or angry we are, we must all rally behind the team Bankie. Let's just wait and see If this squad of underperforming players can actually stand up and show some mettle. Not just that Storm. Does anyone really think Beale would come here after we've sacked a manager less than a year into the job? Or with an injury list longer than Argyle St? Or us being monitored for FFP? Especially after Gerrard, and his backroom staff, stating one of the reasons he left was not getting money for transfers. Or the fact we are only 2 games away from being the worst club in CL history? The list is long. Do you really see him giving up what he has at QPR to take on all that baggage? In my opinion, not a chance!
