Apart from the goal today which was poor, I thought the defence was actually pretty good. Goldson and souttar were both ok and barisic defended well I thought. Tav didn't do anything terrible but didn't give much going forward, goldson and souttar definitely the way to go at the back.

That's the problem though the goal you said apart from cost us 3 points. This ain't amateur football the 4 at the back and goalkeeper are on the guts end of 100k a week.

Firstly this was not a lucky win for killie. They set up just like all the other teams do and did against us last season so the tactics should not have surprised Beale. and £13 plus million was spent to break teams down. There is no direction or style to the team at this present moment. I watched the other mobs game before ours and it looked like Angie hadn’t left. It’s only the first game and i wouldn’t hit the panic button just yet but somebody should be sounding out TED LASSO’s availability. Hopefully the team has just not picked up what Beale has been putting down over the 6 weeks of preseason and they will get it soon. There is another possibility that maybe what he has and has been implementing is not suited to our game. The next 2 weeks are massive and I hope the team realises it.

Don’t think going for cooper makes us look desperate, loads of factors to consider when either him or millwall were making decisions. I’m sure there’s plenty of occasions players have rejected initial offers from rangers and came and been good players. If cooper wants to come now I’d be all for it.

Beale has players to play his system and good players as well. Whether it’ll take time to gel or not we should still be beating Kilmarnock. The players Beale has brought in are good players and I think we will be just fine this season, frustrating yes panic time no.

Tonight was a screamer to watch, I back Beale and his players 100%. I know we shouldn’t compare but they lost their first game and look what happened. Beale has signed good players and I back his football brain. Tonight was a horror show but we go again wed and put today behind us.

Cifuentes arrived the day before the game Beale was never going to throw him in against killie away you also can’t expect to just throw him in and everything will change it’ll take time like the rest of the signings.
