I never said that Rangers links us with players and I never said that people should stop posting rumours or decrying anyone who does, I am merely commenting on the fact that we get linked with players and then when we actually sign someone it is generally someone of a much lower standard . Never thought we could afford Souttar but did think we could get someone of a higher standard than Cooper . As someone says do we not update our scouting lists? We lost out on Trusty and Panzo, we can`t afford Souttar so can we only revisit old targets.

Understand many crying out for a new CB, for me it's a position we don't desperately need to strengthen. Goldson, Souttar, Davies, Balogun, King all capable. Its the space left on each side that is the real issue, leaving our CBs in trouble. If we recruited a couple of wide players further up the park . hopefully our R and L sided defenders wouldn't feel the need to push on as much, leaving acers of space!?!?!?

Don’t think going for cooper makes us look desperate, loads of factors to consider when either him or millwall were making decisions. I’m sure there’s plenty of occasions players have rejected initial offers from rangers and came and been good players. If cooper wants to come now I’d be all for it.
