Surely with P Cs man management skills and the way he improves players a lot of top clubs will be keen to send young talent to us on loan

Getting our money back would be superb. There’s a good few out the door this summer, either sold or significantly off the wage bill on release. Lammers, Roofe, Davies are top of my list.

Difference is hubby, Clement knows how to get the best out of players. Look at how many players have raised their game to the next level since the gaffers come in. Lundstrum, Dessers, Yilmaz all look like different players. I like Armstrong and think he could do a job for us. He terrorised us in the first game of the season and has done the same to Celtic a few times as well. Would be a good squad addition.

Armstrong is an improvement on Wright and would be a good addition to squad but not really improving first 11.

Tbf hubby, I think Jones burned his bridges early doors with that dodgy challenge and sending off. Caught the Oxford / Wigan game a few weeks back, he did OK but lost 4-2, he scored too, out injured for a bit before.

Sorry guys, this is a player who is having his first decent season at the age of 26, he has never had a sniff at national level at any age group and wouldn't look out of place back at his first club, Hamilton. He is no better than Wright and no matter how good Clement is at improving players they've got to have a lot more than Armstrong to start with. We are now looking at players of a far higher calibre. I'm sorry because I'd like us to sign a few home-based players, but that shouldn't mean lowering our standards.

Most make fair points either way tbf, would Armstrong not benefit from having a better level of player around him, and with PC's beady eye of wisdom, well, it could be beneficial for us, and the player, yes I know it doesn't seem to work with Wright, boy tries but needs a level drop imo.
