first of all a good but shaky 3 points as was expected. We need others to do us a favour that's obvious but The mob from Tayside wi the dodgy pitch are not that team. As I look at 0-2 as i type this that now becomes 9 goals they have shipped past them. Unfortunately and I hate to say it but that's how leagues are won and lost as we couldn't score one goal against them last week. Not over yet but roll on next year and shipping out some of the Imposters. We all know who they are.

It’s going to be a huge job to revamp this squad, there will be lots out of contract and a good few who either aren’t good enough or the jersey is too heavy. Unfortunately I think this will be financed by a move for Butland. With that said I trust clement and I’m hoping with players he wants in the door we will be better for it. Still all to play for.

G4 poor recruitment was a major reason the previous 2 managers failed so nk is a major influence on how we move forward and if the board back him and PC I believe we can be more successful and who knows maybe we win the league this year.

I’m a realist, I really hope we win the league but sadly we will just fall short.
I just don’t see the current team going to a very hostile parkhead and getting three points but I’ll be watching hoping and praying we do. We are short of quality in the midfield engine room this is where games are won and lost.

I am constantly amazed how Clement gets a tune out of this group. A third are injured, a third are not good enough and a third are already thinking about their next team/ contract. I really hope they spend some cash on up and coming Scot’s players and start developing vs patching together a team. Anyway on to the next game. Celtic are very much a first half team and they are still there for the taking if we could just get our sh88 together for the next five games.

Deja Vu Sunday.
Yes, the 3 points are all that matters.
But that was another hard watch.
A Rangers performance that was a mirror image of the start by the Captain.
Another half arsed attempt at a clearance by Tav resulted in a chance for St Mirren within the first minute.
Saved by Butland again on countless occasions.
A defence that was again shaky at times.
A midfield that struggled to get a foothold in the game at times until we again decided to play through the middle later on in the second half.
But at least we can rely on the big man up front to pull us out of a hole as he became the first striker to score 20 goals in all competitions since Boyd and Miller. 😳
We now have a home game against Killie who will in all probability present a tougher task than today.
Anyway the fat lady still isn't singing🔴⚪️🔵.

He's joint 3rd highest scorer in spl. 20 is decent but it's not the best, is it? Will we think we done well if we finish second? Because he first guy to score 20 since boyd/ Miller doesn't make it an achievement if guys this year and last year are scoring 30. So used to accepting 2nd best on here.

Are we finding out now Clement isn’t as good as we first thought? We have the potential to win a Treble yet there appears to be no appetite, desire, leadership or tactics. Players should be busting a gut to win rather than scrape wins. Ok, we have had injuries but as highlighted in other posts younger players who I would expect to have all the qualities missing should be given some opportunities rather than current dross.

Their goalie made a mess of both our goals today, yes tavs big loopy cross landed on dessers head perfectly but c'mon man that’s a goalies ball all day, if he leaves the ground to catch he avoids his own player and collects easily…thankfully he did not.
