Afternoon folks, just passing on info from a message I received this morning, most of which we already know but interesting to read anyway.
Josh Onomah is a player Beale wants and has spoken to RW about him.
The rumours of a Billy Gilmore return aren't entirely nonsensical, but more likely a plan B should Beale not be able to land his main targets.
Raskin is very much on the gaffer's radar.
Ryan Kent would prefer to stay and sign a new contract if terms can be agreed.
And sounds a bit premature to me, but Beale has given the board the go ahead to trigger the apparent £5million obligation clause to buy Tillman.
No word on Sands yet.

Kent wants 55k per week. He believes he can get that down south even in championship. Rangers offered 38k per week to Morelos but he wants more. Rumours are Middle East have offered him serious money. Beale wants 1 CB, 1 midfielder and 1 top 3 player in January.

Plus looking at adding 2-3 bosman deals already in January for the summer. Meaning that only a few will be brought in in the summer if goes to plan. Bosman goalkeeper is being looked at in English championship as well as Germany.

@humph could be, Beale was looking at him at QPR, 1 South American boy being looked at seriously. Also 1 African boy being considered. 1 keeper in Germany and 1 in championship being seriously considered.

If, and it's still a big If, there is a chance to get Gilmour, then get him signed - It's a no brainer.
5m for Tillman? Do we really want another luxury player who only turns up in some of the games? There's definitely talent there, but just like Kent, there's no consistency.

I have a feeling that Kent will sign a new deal and I like what I am hearing in terms of players that we will potentially sign in January.
Getting the right goalkeeper will be important and I am hearing some names mentioned that would fit the bill. I would gladly take David Soria or Jack Butland!

Both Morelos and Kent can be great players when they want to. Unfortunately Kent dosent do it anywhere near enough and Alfie had far too many issues/ chances now. In an ideal world we need to cash in and bring in replacements willing to play week in - week out.

I hope Kent stays he’s our most creative player and Beale will be desp to keep him as he’s exactly the type of player he likes in attacking role. I don’t get the constant Kent bashing on here! 2.5 million is complete madness, we're not getting much bang for our buck, I've got a feeling that we're going to give him a new deal, adding up his transfer fee, wages and bonuses he's cost us a fortune, I like Ross Wilson and am hoping he can see there's no value giving Kent a new deal.

The player with the most assists is rangers most creative player and more time than not it’s no Kent. Don’t think he’s had the most assists in our team in any season he’s been here. He also struggles to score for an attacking player. Agree he does track back a lot and presses well.

Kent is the only player we have who can consistently beat a full-back in a 1v1 situation - He's actually brilliant at it. The problem has always been his end product. He needs to score more goals.

Kent and Morelos are two of our biggest earners. We need to refresh the squad and selling them for anything we can in January opens up new possibilities. Things went stale some time ago and we just need some change. It really depends what’s available in January. If there’s two quality attackers out there willing to join us on precontracts then I say go for it.

Kent flatters to deceive most of the time and loses ball too many times when stumbling into defenders - we can and should do much better to fill his position. His end product is debatable and has only shown flashes in games.
Verdant - consistently beats a full back in 1v 1 situation? - that is a rare occurrence and he is nowhere near the player he was - best for both parties if he moves on imo.

Blue-Floyd he had 19 assists in an off season last season and I believe is joint 2nd or 3rd in the league on assists this season. at least back your point up.

Our right back Tavs has 5 assists and 6 goals so far this season so here we have some other statistics that show maybe our prolific striker Kent could and should do better.
My point is that he should score more for a player with great potential but never brings it to the table CONSISTENTLY- oh yes and he expects more money for doing the current job to this standard!

My view is that to secure a player of Kent's ability it will cost us more than we are most likely willing to pay and as a result we will waste more money bringing someone else like Matondo or Sakala in. Yes, there are better than Kent out there but our track record of signing quality players over the past couple of seasons is not that great.
