Thats good and bad news, Helanader is a solid pro and technically a very good CH, Could have been different had it not been for that flipping injury. Good Luck Phil and we all move on.

No way we should do that to Davis.

5.) 05 Jan 2023

That will never happen to Davis and should not be even thought of.

Davis who’s had one bad injury at us? Disgusting doing that to a great player for us.

What’s the odds he leaves finds a team and gets fit and plays without injury for a good majority

But good we get him off the books and save on his wages better used else where.

Regards helander agree R1 good defender but just not available enough to justify wage hasto go as soon as possible. On Davis no chance we do that unless it's him wanting to go to a team to maybe player/ coach role I'm sure at least 50% of spl teams would want him. Once fit off course.

you seem to make a habit of these statements va, like every couuple of days, do you have a dislike of rangers heroes.

Mistake was giving Mr Davis another year. A great servant but very high chance he would be healthy and working in a coaching role already somewhere.

Get a grip Va! No way will we or should we even contemplate doing that to the immaculate pro steven davis ?.

If helander is away that's fine. i get where he's coming from Re Davis as he won't play for us again. But if he's moving into coaching role then you obv can't do that to him.

Helanader Read the game amazingly one of the best defenders at rangers in a long long time sad to see him go wish the big man all the best.

Loved Hellander, he's the type of centre half we need.

Heard a while back that he'd be leaving this window to go back to Sweden to see out the rest of his career in his homeland - hope that's the case.

Our best defender when fit, feel sorry the guy not being able to stay injury free for any length of time.

Helander was an excellent defender, just lacked a bit of pace but guess if he had pace he'd have been playing at a much higher level than us.

Has had too many injuries now and would probably be on significant wages, if we do get him off the wage bill then that wouldn't be the worst thing.

Wish the big man well though.

The key issue re Davis is insurance company pay his wages, pay him off they stop paying

Yes same re Helander, but as often the case they pay for a certain period, he came with injury history so like any policy there will be clauses.

I doubt their r clauses in Davis as he is seldom injured.

Fruit bear helander on aground 18k.

Helander was amazing during 55, rubbish luck with injuries or we'd have struggled to keep hold of him.
