Does anyone really think we’ll be signing Danilo? I have huge doubts! If we did get him I’d be amazed.
I don’t have sources or anything like that I’m just a Rangers fan, that would love to see this guy sign. I genuinely believe that a signing like that would take our attack to another level.

I would absolutely love us to be able to sign danilo but i also just can't see us getting him TBH ?I hope i'm wrong and it would be hard to convince both dessers and danilo to sign with one of them being the no 1 choice for the central striker role ? I like the look of dessers but being totally truthful, danilo would have been my no.1 choice between the two ?.

This is what I hate about the transfer window, you’ll get a few people saying things like Danilo by next Friday or Newcastle Friendly game, and you think Brilliant. Then next thing you know people are saying that it’s nowhere near as close as that and then don’t know what to believe.
So from today I’m not going to be talking about any more- Danilo transfer to us because it’s better to wait and at least see them in Glasgow on the way to us before saying things. I still would like it to happen but it’s just easier to wait until the transfer market closes or we’re nearly at the end and we’ve been told nobody else will be coming in. That way we can see who we really have in to have a better idea on everything. Although it is a rumour site and I understand that!

Not saying anybodies wrong but there’s posters on here done by next Friday or by Newcastle Game, just seems a bit quick for us normally where chasing a signing it takes a bit of patience and can get protracted, best example would be Raskin- we ran the risk of loosing him in January by haggling like mad. Then we ended up giving his club what they wanted in the first place.
Unless the deal with feyenoord has been agreed in principle behind the scenes, then next week would seem realistic. I don’t know people at the club or have any sources other than meaningless pub talk or pals that are speculative, just a Rangers fan. So obviously take what I say with a pinch of salt. It just does seem a bit to quick tho getting this done by end of next week or Newcastle game are the people that say by next week sure? And how did we get to this point for example has there been some kinda fee agreed and breakthrough and how much? If anyone wants to Educate me then I’m all ears.

To me the guy seemed way to risky a signing especially for the money. I’m much happier Watford talking the risk rather than us, I know every signing has a element of risk but it looks like we’re going for quality or someone the gaffer has worked with or has knowledge of.
Even palmas highlights didn’t overly impress me and normally the make players look better than they are. It was just a few nice free kicks in half empty stadiums. Keep the money to pay for Danilo and cifuentes and a Left sided centre back position. And a left back if BB leaves, and if that all happens I’m more than happy with our squad and obviously get rid of the players the gaffer has no interest in playing because there either not good enough or don’t fit MBs style. And to be fair the guys that have respect on here for being accurate and have sources I. e Copland, John27 have said that the players that I mentioned we want we’ve got a good chance of getting. Which is positive time ahead. It’s feels like we’ve got a new team, with new capabilities or dimensions.

I hope your right a bit a Brazilian magic, would be my personal signing of the summer. I’m hoping he sign’s because I want to get my son and new baby daughter the new strip and there’s only one name I want on the back Danilo.
I have all over social media the amount of Rangers fans wanting this signing to happen- if it does you’ll have to take your hat off to the club for bringing this guy in. He’s such a classy finisher.

I think Danilo would be brought in to play the 2 split strikers, it wouldn’t necessarily be one or the other, split strikers is MB preffered formation. He just hasn’t had the personnel or the right players before. If you look at the attributes of both Dessers and Danilo you can see why MB would think that.
My personal opinion (which is garbage) is if we had the both it would be our strongest strike force pairing since the early 2000,s. And would be really exciting to watch. I’m still doubtful we will get him though. He’d be a massive fans favourite and would love to buy my son and daughter both new kits with Danilo on the back.

Thank goodness for VAR then, Although it didn’t seem to work when Morelos scored a perfectly good goal against them which was rather convenient. But there always up in arms no matter what we do. If it’s a signing it’s we’re did the money come from. If it’s a penalty at ibrox the referee somehow supports us. And if things don’t go there way everyone’s out to get them.
I actually think that the fact they sometimes seem more obsessed about what we’re doing will hurt them this season- because while working ever so hard to get are own house in order, there to busy caring about us. There’s still a lot that’s needs done both on and off the park, still a few quality signings away and we need to get rid off the ones not needed.

Just firstly we play in front of sellout stadiums, so that’s normally 50 odd thousand not 40 odd. That’s just basic maths.
And the point is genuine about Rodger’s not facing any real threat from a Rangers side. He basically one easy titles no real threat. Then got bored of Celtic then left. Went down to the EPL we’re things are completely different from up here in terms of money. Plus down there he hasn’t got 70% of possession. So what he’s done down there and the quality of manager he’s faced is irrelevant in my book because he’s heading into the unknown as he has never faced a threat before now he will. This is a whole new set of circumstances, than last time. So in my opinion it’s about the future and how well future circumstances are dealt with- I don’t think how well he got on against EPL quality managers matter.

Matondo- reason we’re adding cifuentes, Danilo or any other player that’s been heavily linked into our first team next year, as it’s just a bit of fun on a rumours page. I would have thought you’d be happy because we have lots of talent or heavily linked potential talent, I actually find it quite interesting considering everyone’s got there own ideas on the formation. Do we go one up top at times or play both Dessers and Danilo. Point is Matondo it’s good we’re going in the right direction recruitment wise and have these ideas and talent to choose from. Don’t be a buzz kill.

I’m slightly different in formation but I’ve got exactly the same players as you, I think it will be a 4-3-1-2, this is of course if we do sign Danilo, I think cifuentes will come as there is a agreement in place but I’m hoping we’re not left disappointed by Danilo but if he signs if got.
Butland, Defence Tav-Goldsen-Souttar-Yilmaz,
Midfield, Raskin- Cifuentes-cantwell
Lammers behind the 2 Strikers of Dessers- Danilo
If got a very attacking side but we need to play to our strengths and pin teams in go for them, once we’re a few goals to the good take of Danilo or Lammers and solidify things with a more defensive look and bring on Ryan Jack, and maybe even a sima to stretch the game.
Although we haven’t yet got 2 of my first team in the door, lol I just put my kamikaze looking side up. As it is a Banter site I thought I’d put my team up just as a bit of fun.

Sir Walter, it’s not one or the other, they will both play together as split strikers, that’s MB favourite system but hasn’t had the personnel to play that system before. It’s basically a 4-3-1-2.
Although I’ve just discovered that there is nothing credible reporting that Danilo is imminent, I think anyone saying that is attention seeking. We’re interested in him and that’s still we’re it stands, found absolutely nothing nowhere saying Danilo is signing, if I’m wrong I’ll stand corrected but please provide some kind of source please.
