Hope that’s true regarding both Danilo and McKenna. Copland you say not a defender that suits Beales style of play? Similar style to helander. A defender who first and foremost defends! Always believed you need a solid central defender playing beside a ball playing defender. Look at 55 season. We were solid at the back. McKenna much better than Davies in my opinion. He’s exactly what we need.

StevieG2 definitely time to offload some players now. Seems like we’re struggling in the sales department. I would keep roofe and matondo though. The years we have had roofe have been plagued by injury but he is an outstanding finisher and he has said he feels in the best fitness/ health of his life. There won’t be any reasonable sell value on roofe. Keeping him would be best imo. Matondo needed time for me. I wouldn’t mind giving him another season.

McKenna is actually a very good passer of the ball guys he can ping 50 years passes about precise no problem and he actually has a decent bit of pace over a good distance. He’s a lot better than some are giving credit btw.

Roofe is a conundrum we all know he’s a class player but the injuries just keep piling up.
If we can offload Roofe even for free the saved wages could help the club if u put them up against when he’s actually available.
If we have Danilo and dessers and lammers and sima I don’t really see that we need anotherr striker.
I’d be fine with Roofe as 3rd choice. Better for club if he moves in though.
Matondo may well do with a year on loan if the club pay his wages. Could help us put him in shop window.
We need to start tryna sell all these players and just maximise what we get for them and put it all in the pot with saved wages to get the 2 cb’s we want and need. Panzo doesn’t bother me but we need to get trusty I feel he’s the one who will make a difference.

Beale obviously wants his centre backs to be comfortable with the ball which is why I don’t think McKenna suits a Beale team.

Stevie most Centre backs can ping 50 yard passes. Not quite the same as being good with the ball.

Look at Goldson, key part in our play when trying to break down teams. Davies and Souttar have the same qualities. Being able to carry the ball over a distance, being progressive with passing and even dribbling.

That’s a fair point Copland I was just meaning that a lot of people are putting down his pace and football ability but he’s actually good on the ball and has a good bit of pace about him, as someone else stated he was fastest player at Aberdeen. Dunno if that’s correct as Scott wright was there at same time and the boy hedges but he still does have a bit of pace about him mate.
Paul86 that’s good info mate so likely has put that rumour to bed cheers for that mate keep us posted if u find anything diff out on him.
