First time Post. I wonder whether there's potential to change to a back 3 next season. Souttar RCB, Doekhi (hopefully) CB then Helandervor Bassey at RCB. Thoughts everyone?

No same as sg. gvb won't chage formation to accomodate one player.

They could do but gio has always used 4 at the back I believe so I doubt it.

I have seen a few different formations already from Gio, seems much more willing to be flexible. Its a way of getting 2 strikers in the box and keep good width. Could see Sands being useful as can play DM and CB so can switch between 4 and 3/ 5 at back. He has always played 4 in defense but to me is pragmatic.

Souttar is good on the ball and a back 3 def suits him for that, will be interesting how he adapts to being in a back 4 as I don’t think Gio will change the shape beyond adapting the 433 system.
