Great news, did we ever get clarity on the level of his weekly wage?

I thought it was as high as £14k per week but more informed he was on the same wage as Leon King? Which isn’t much.

Sands off the ball is ridiculously composed, more so than goldson. When he's pressured on the ball he's prone to a wee error. Covered for a few of the natural defenders when they messed up last night.

The lad done ok - was what he was asked to do and didn't try to be superman - - give him a break man! the tackle he was nearly sent off for was purer class and he didn't put himself in that position.

I agree Sands did fine yes a few loose passes but he wasn’t the only one, he is a great passers of the ball and remember LCB is not his natural position, as for Simpson it didn’t work out for him doesn’t mean he’s a S—-E player and I hope he goes on to do a great job at Cardiff and we’re through so let’s stop calling out players and look forward to next Tues.

Simpson was a decent quality player so there was every logic in signing him. He never settled in Scotland but I have a feeling that back down South he will turn out to be a good player for Cardiff. I wish every success. Hopefully we can use the funds we bring in from these fringe players that we are selling and the wages that we are saving to bring in at least one quality player before the end of the transfer window.

Yeah was a bit worried when seen sands in last night too but got to hand it to him he did ok although I don't think union pushed that my g as they were sitting in hoping we couldn't score. Gio got it right again ????? let's hope he has some good knowledge on psv and mastermind getting us back to the group stages? going to need a lot of graft and. a. bit of luck for these next two games.

Ps still don't think McLaughlin good with his feet he is rash nearly cost us the game and sands a red card. If he's not comfortable with ball at feet. he. should just get rid instead of the risky passes.

I would love to know what our scouting dept or was it S.G saw in Simpson. We never gave him a chance from the start, so why sign him . He's part of a growing list of players we bring in but don't play . That said he's a better centre half than Sands, who is slower, worse in the air and less physical. Don't know what we see in him either.
