Well looks like we have about 9 days to sort ourselves out after the passing of the queen think I read sport will be cancelled for around this time
my prediction is I don't think GVB will be here in January and I think kent and Morelos will walk without signing new contracts
god knows who will take over and what they will have to work with
unbelievable what a couple weeks can do in football whether he can turn it around will remain to be seen but by looks of players attitude all of a sudden it doesn't look like there up for the fight
massive changes will be needed and all the usual picks just about need dropped?

In a few weeks. You mean 2 bad results. Only 10 days ago we where singing the man’s praises getting us champions league football. The board has hung him out to dry not giving him money add a better caliber of player for CL footy. But the way fans are going it’s like we have lost 6 on the bounce.

We should have kept balogan n katic for cover as souter n boy from Liverpool a while off, also we should have brought attacking mid ie a num 8 n other striker this has been clearly obvious for a while, we missed our chance, n sorry mcglauclin in not a gers num 1, too mqny mistakes and dosent have a pressence, like mgregor, Gorum, kloss n no ones is covering for hi. so its showing up big time. TOO many individuals at out team n now been shown up, yeah it is early, but some guys just have lost intrest, n yeah katic is a better option than having no one or sands standing in, he had one great game ut he's no cb.

One thing I do enjoy about this site, is the ability to see the varying opinions on the same thing. Makes one realise that reality is a subjective interpretation.
Here is mine: I agree with the posters who say GVB wasn’t backed enough in the transfer window and that Ross Wilson is picking the players to be bought. You only have to look at bringing in Aaron Ramsay but not using him (even when he was able for selection) to see that’s not GVB’s pick of player. I don’t think GVB was wrong to make his claim that you need more money to be successful in the CL. However, I don’t think that he should be stating it publicly because it allows players to have a head drop and say…well we can’t compete and could be mentally damaging. Troops went go into battle and went over the top, it was a no win scenario for them in that situation, but they didn’t shirk the task. So I feel that he hasn’t been able to get into the psyche of the players because, massively talented or not, the team failed to get in about both Celtic and Ajax. The running stats and our own eyes tell us that. I personally think that the team need some sports psychology or GVB does, to understand his players mentality and get them fired up. I don’t think its enough to say they should be fired up to succeed for the Famous, because we can’t expect a player from a foreign country to understand that or feel it the same way when they first arrive. But there is clearly a big mentality issue. I’m not sure when it started, but i might correlate it with Morelos being put on the naughty step, perhaps the players were unhappy with that being aired publicly and felt it was the wrong way to approach things? Just a thought.
Either way, there have been studies on motivating athletes (i coach professional athletes- mainly UFC) and its all about trust, once trust is breached, its over and there are 3 elements to trust: ability, integrity and benevolence. If the players feel that GVB (or his team) don’t have the ability to help them reach their sporting goals, don’t have integrity between what they say and do or don’t genuinely care about the players and team over and above the fact they are paid to do so, then the game is up. To me, if i lost 0-4 in back to back games, I would be starting to question ability.

can't do much when FFP are breathing down your necks, you can't spend the cash and risk a fine that could steal a future signings fee, if you think about the last few years, we overspent to stop 10 in a row, had to rebuild twice and had C.V. affect a season, we need it to average over 5 seasons, we will spend again in January, we accepted stopping 10 in a row would eventually catch up with us, think Gerrard moaning about no singings the previous year, little activity in January, compare that to before we got 55 and we were generally outspending Celtic because we had to, they have outspent us over the last two seasons because they have that luxury of money in the bank but it brings us back on an even playing field with them financially until one of us profits from a substantial player sale or qualifies to the champions league without the other making it, even then it's only around 10-15m more since the other is guaranteed Europa league football.

nobody will be forcing anyone to mourn, all sport will likely be cancelled, which allows for the people who work in these sports, ie, players, stewards, police, ambulance etc to mourn if they wish.

I for one am pleased to see that all Sport has been cancelled this weekend our of respect after the sad loss of our Monarch, Queen Elizabeth 2nd. Like Many others this weekend I will be mourning the death of an exceptional Lady that those of us that live in and around Windsor saw her as a Neighbour as well as the Leader of the people of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth.

Got to have been some sort of interest and I don't believe much that comes from our club officially anymore. which is a real shame the honesty and trust between board and fans is being eroded with things like the mygers scam, Australian "friendly" and generally treating the fans with contempt.
