Dutch Journalist reporting in sky sports that gio will be not be removed during the world cup break and it is understood that the board is sympathetic to gio's position due to the injury crisis.

Support gio show him some respect instead of most trying to hound him out the door.

Support gio an his staff support the squad
We do have over a full squad out injured he can only do much with the fit squad he has who have been playing constant every 3 4 days legs will go stamina will drain yes we lost to st johnstone drew with st mirren etc but now this is a BIG IF if we took our chance both games we would have win about 7.1 so it not down to gio players sre missing chances it down to the players not taken them chance in the games

As said support gio an his backing team and the squad.

Well the board and GIO are delusional, anybody who knows anything about football can see the problem is tactics or lack of tactics, our worst player or so called worst player (Wright) would walk into any other team in the league bar you know who. So even with injuries we should still be beating or at least putting teams under huge pressure to win, when we play the players look un interested and it's obvious to see, so either GIO truly believes injuries are hindering him or not, team still looks slow, weak and terrible to watch. Ever since that guy from the City group came in as well we've gotten worse every week so maybe he's the problem, who knows but it isn't all down to injuries.

3.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 18:26:58
Not what he said. He said gio expects to still be here and hopes to have the boards support. But it does look like he'll still be here, which means they'll get to 60 leagues before we do. No doubt the sheep at the AGM won't put any pressure on them either, just like our "fan media" at press conferences. Terrible decision after terrible decision.

And there will be 50,000 people willing to buy season books and more beyond that sinking their money in regardless. Worried we are going to end up like Man Utd, apatehtic owners, depressing football spearheaded by an ex-player who is only in the job because of Nostalgia. We will be on the backfoot and facing another 3-4-5.ina row from them.

How do people think the players returning from injuries are going to fix anything? It’s such a lazy excuse if Gio wasn’t a former player there’d be even more uproar than there is just now. Who’s out injured that’s actually going to impact the starting 11? Hagi- been out for over a year will be lucky to make any impact for months. Lawrence- were rotten with him in the team. Goldson- same as Lawrence. Yilmaz- Gio didn’t fancy him anyway so will be lucky to even play. None of the others are getting in the starting 11. If anyone thinks the board is backing him for any reason other than not wanting to shell out however many millions to get rid of him is deluded.

Lumping the ball into the box isn't exactly chances. We aren't testing the oppositions keeper.

The football being served up at times I. N T R is dreadful, our set plays are beyond woeful, I do have a degree of sympathy in regards to players being out injured but we as a team also lack fight and determination , shipping in goals far too easily, under Gerrard teams barely got shots away in a lot of games, blocking shots I find we are far to easily exposed any team gets even half a chance its more often than not a goal, and in regards to not taking our chances our strikers are far too exposed there's practically no support running into the box from wide men or midfielders airfield apart webadly lack in that department, I love gio the man / player but I'm getting more and more frustrated as te days go on with his set up and the lack of fight and determination from the team we have went so far backwards it's unbelievable, I'll hold my hands up and admit I've been disrespectful in regards to talking about a new manager in while he's in a job but that's the nature of the game he's in, it's my club and I just want what's best and right now I personally believe we need a change of management team, I honestly hope in years to come this statement comes back to haunt me but he's taking us no further we are awful awful to watch at times, when 3 or 4 are off form it's the player when 3 or 4 Oare the only ones arguably in form the buck stops firmly at the managers door it is that simple, the team qe have even with injury with no disrespect shpuod be beating St mirrn amd St Johnstone and livingstone, you ask martindale, Robinson or Davidson which team they would chose to play with we all know it would be our 11 that excuse simply doesn't wash with me, we are mentally weak and show no fight that's my biggest gripe, I'm honestly gutted he's still going to be in charge after the break, sorry for the essay.

15 Nov 2022 19:31:08
I. N. T. R, fairplay in your support for gio. But that statement about winning the game 7-1 is just untrue. St Mirren had a higher XG than us, bearing in mind we got a penalty which is roughly .65 of a goal for XG. Out of the 13/ 14 players injured, goldson, Lawrence, Colak and hagi would be starters. That team that played against st mirren had a combined worth of roughly 15 million, st mirren is about 2 million. Any team we put out should be beating every other team in this league other than Celtic. The standard is extremely high because the gap between the old firm and the rest of the league is the same (if not more) than when we play in the champions league. The reason gio isn’t getting any sympathy from fans on here is because he doesn’t deserve it.

15 Nov 2022 20:01:29
He needs to go.

11.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 20:01:35
INTR when does that support stop though? I will always cheer on our team but I expect that team to fight. I was excited about Gio coming in and he did a great job in Europe last season but there is something clearly wrong with our set up just now.

12.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 20:13:28
Nothing to do with injuries his style of football is atrocious sooner he goes the better.

13.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 20:13:35
I'm not supporting that imposter. Injuries. The squad he is left with is more than capable of beating St Johnstone, St Mirren and Livingston. The uninspiring man said it himself we can't compete with the money these big teams have. Well look at the budgets of those teams and what we had on the park and it's the same.

He was also responsible for a 12 point swing in Celtics favour but the Europa kept what is happening now at bay.

We have no style, identity or fight and he doesn't know how to change it.

14.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 20:48:29
Did I just read support Gio. Seriously!

15.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:17:36
INTR - correct ??????????.

16.) 15 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:21:03
I can guarantee you Gio ain’t coaching long balls. He’s had 13 first teamers missing. The mental
And physical fatigue that the remaining 12/ 13 first teamers have been out through is draining. 3 games a week. Unable to rotate or keep the remaining players fresh. Then these tires and burnt out players resort to desperation tactics. They go into their shells. Confidence drained. There’s been no momentum built due to constantly needing to play players out of position.

17.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:22:18
Wright couldn’t get a game for Aberdeen.

18.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:40:49
Tavernier came out and said the squad prefer a tighter schedule as it helps them with consistency, so the argument of too many games just isn’t true. Gio in a post match presser even said about how we should cross balls in, so clearly that is a style that we work on. It’s not a coincidence that martindale came out and said he knew exactly how to set up as we would flood balls into the box. Players do what they are told to do nowadays.

19.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:41:17
Gios staying? Ok erskine bridge here i come.

20.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:43:33
King Henry out of the injured players tell me which ones are going to start that have been out for more than a couple of weeks when the football was already rank rotten. The tactics are absolutely abysmal and if it was Pedro coming out with these results everyone who’s backing Gio would be playing a different tune. Just because he’s an ex player take off your tinted glasses and look at the real picture.

21.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:44:29
Well says intr, interesting fact we’re only 3 points worse off than last season and this season we’ve had a horrendous injury list.

22.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 21:50:42
I'll support Rangers through the good, and the bad, but I'm not supporting Gio. He's a dud! Get him out, now!

23.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 22:22:09
Financially impossible for us to compete at all in the CL pumped every game. What does the think about the gulf in wages between us amd st johnstone, livi, and st mirren?

24.) 16 Nov 2022
15 Nov 2022 23:02:17
St Mirren, St Johnstone and Livingston all looked more tactically sound then we did . that's a huge wake up call surely?!?!?!? Regardless of the starting 11, our current tactics are dreadful and no team fear us atm. 1 dimensional and gutless.

25.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 00:12:06
Twisted

Is this the same wright that wasn't first team pick for Aberdeen when we signed him ? blew your own point out water there mate.

Not that I'm down on wright hard not to like someone who at least tries.

26.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 00:15:49
Negri I've got to agree I've been a big gio supporter but when he said we created chances and was counting crosses to nobody as a chance he lost me and I started to see the excuses rather than telling us what's going on . and I do believe there is more to it the injury list is insane and people don't realise half the players that are playing are carrying injuries too which is making things worse but this is when he should trust the likes of young McCann and other youth to step in.

27.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 00:22:33
If gio is just flooding balls into box I really don't see why we can't have two in there or wingers are the problem they rarely go down wing to byline Kent being prime example always leaves to barasic same Tav on other side teams sit in against us so all those 451 and 433 arguers saying we can't play two up go out window problem is you need right two no point having Kent and whoever lumping ball into box if only one striker in there v 3 defenders an maybe midfielders ?.

I'm a big believer in if we leave on up they only leave two back and can get at you if you leave two up they will leave 3 possibly 4 back giving your midfield room to operate the 433 and 451 are good in competitive games were teams come at you this is why we are beating the hearts and Aberdeen's that normally give us trouble it's the teams that are sitting in that are doing us that's 100% down to tactics.

28.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 08:00:33
Mcgregor
Tav goldson Davies yilmaz
Lunny Jack hagi
Kent colak lawrence
7 of those are injured 2 I believe are playing injured and imo that team would be in a better position than now. I'm not saying gio should stay only that this team hasn't been available for the manager throw in likes of heilander Roofe soutter all unavailable even Morelos.

29.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 10:37:14
Walter so out of that team McGregor available all season, Tav available all season, Goldson out but was in the rank rotten team all year up til few weeks ago, Davies been available a fair amount been rubbish, Yilmaz Gio didn’t pick so why would he start picking him now, Lundstram fit all season, Jack in and out been rubbish with him as well, Hagi won’t be making any difference any time soon he’s been out for over a year, Kent been available all season, Colak available all season and Lawrence who was one of our better players. So ultimately we have had these guys fit and we’re rubbish with them why all of a sudden when they come back are we going to be good again. Laughable. If you can’t see the tactics are causing the major issue then you’re deluded.

30.) 16 Nov 2022
16 Nov 2022 11:35:50
The only midfielders that were injured on saturday were Hagi and Lawrence so most of our normal 1st team were available in midfield tho ?.

I. N. T. R. - I was speaking to a couple of the folk I know who work at the club and I asked them what the general consensus on Gio was and I was taken back by how positively they spoke of GVB and his coaching staff.

They waxed lyrical about the work they are doing to set us up for success going forward and also said that the GVB we see in front of the camera is very, very different from the what he's like in and around the club.

I almost started to feel optimistic about our future again. then I can on here!

32.) 16 Nov 2022
16 nov 2022 18:53:03
intr, you post this everyday, you support all you want, i loved gio and was excited at the prospectt.

now i hate every game, its diabolical football, and the manager watches

its difficult to imagine any other manager not changing the corner kick nonsense, or bringing a striker frrom the bench on 92 mins when we desperately need a goal nad our senior striker is useless

blind faith is a nonsense.

If anyone thinks Lundstram and Sands are good enough they need their head checked, can't create and the defence can't defend .
