Heard from a reliable source Connor Barron at Rangers today for a medical.
Guy is usually very reliable, I hope so as I like what I've seen of him and help the homegrown quota.

Told Yesterday at the game and a reliable contact at that, we are in for John Fleck, his Co tract is up in 6 months.
I'm not sure if this is good or not as I've not seen him play for a while.

When Fleck was coming through the Rangers youth ranks a significant investment was made in him. He was given a large salary, the club bought his family a home, etc. In 2012 he rejected the opportunity to transfer transfer over his contract and walked away for free. I don’t want John Fleck to ever play for Rangers.

Storm, it's when temporary poor form becomes permanent that I worry about and in the past months that's where I see Barisic. We will need a second left back, that's for certain, for a 70 game season.

I was told yesterday that the Murty situation was his own doing. He was told by Mark Allen that they were close with Steven Gerrard as the new manager and Murty spat the dummy, not good news before an old firm game but he had to be told as the media were about to expose it. Looking back and his pre match interview before Celtic seems to make sense. He asked Robertson for a meeting to discuss his views and air his grievance etc and at that point he was relieved of his duties. Rangers had every intention of allowing him the last three games but due to how Graeme was and the performances and the internal fighting of Wallace and Miller it was deemed to be in everyone's interests that he be let go. This was from a Celtic daft friend who works closely with a number of people in the operations side of hospitality at Ibrox. Let's get behind Gerrard.

Just to back up the guys point, under Murty at the start of the season the youth were pumped 5-1 by Leicester city. Kirkwood with the same players won 6-0.

rfcrb1872 - I believe that a lot of their current success is due to things laid down by Murty. That is not to discredit Kirkwood who is also good.
I just think that Murty is not of the level to manage the first team and that specifically has worked out as a negative for both club and player, however not why he was employed for. We should credit him for what he was supposed to do and let him get on with it if he can. I guess those within the club will know if this is possible.
The more quality youth coaches we have the better for the club.

Heard from my seat mate at Ibrox and he was told club are looking at allowing Niko a free, his request was not to have his contract paid up as his other half wants to return to the USA, this will allow him to find a club for the start of the new MLS season. Also in Portuguese press Bruno looking for a move back home as he will have limited game time and Cardoso could be away by end of next week. Just need shot of Dalcio now if all this is true, seems believable let's all hope.

Dalcio can be sent back if we want, Murty has been trying him in WB position so maybe he sees something in him that can be useful.
Alves linked with bottom club in Serie A, think we will keep Cardoso If Bruno goes so we have Wilson, Martin as senior CB and Bates and Cardoso 3/ 4th choice and hopefully send Aiden Wilson on loan so we have plenty of cover.
Niko and Rossiter are both on around £14k per week and as much as I want both to be a success I think £25-30k in frees up wages could be spend better.
If anyone fancies either (especially Niko) i'd release on a free

Kranjcar wasn't playing in the MLS. he was playing in the 3rd division (National Soccer League) . So doubt he's getting a move to the MLS.
We always get players into the pool before sweeping the deadwood out. Interesting to see who we can shift. Hodson, Dalcio, Alves and Herrera for me please.

The takeover is in the legal part and therefore the details of what shares are being purchased and from whom is already in place.

I've heard that he was away before he was pushed.

The whole thing with Hagi is his and his agents doing.
Rangers are not due Genk 1.4m, they are due them 350k plus money if we win the league again.
The contract situation is what it is. He was told we don't see him as the future no10 and that is fine.
Hagi sat last season in Spain banging on that he wanted to stay in laliga and this was the best league for him and doesn't see a future at Rangers.
His agent then goes on about how loads of teams are after him and he will be lucky to do a pres season again at Rangers as he will move and that's what we want.
Fast forward 2 months and nobody wants him that will pay him what he currently gets paid by Rangers, and that's without the increase for hitting 100 games.
