Rangers have played 20 games this season 10 under pedro and 10 under murty. Pedro played 10 won 5 drew 3 lost 2. murty played 10 won 6 lost 4 both crap records yet people on here are already suggesting that he stays on after the season ends and even saying he is a good tactician?

murty has no tactics at all, his teams have no shape and are all over the place, he sets out to let teams attack us and in 2 of the games he's lost we scored first then appeared to sit back and try to defend that lead for the rest of the match and I will include the hibs away match in this even though we got away with that one. We invite crosses in to the box by playing narrow yet we have not been able to defend crosses since Ally was in charge, we are a mess tactically.

Ever think it’s the players who aren’t good enough?

2.) 27 Dec 2017 12:21:04
Graeme. you have a point there about the players not being good enough, but all the teams who have beaten us this season are below us excluding the manky mob,
That then tells us that the players from the teams below us who have beaten us are putting in a lot more effort, commitment etc and most of them would never ever be good enough play for Rangers, some of these players are only on £800 - £1000 per week!
Conclusion. sadly we have players who are not only not good enough but who are not putting in enough effort or commitment to justify the money that are getting week in and week out,

3.) 27 Dec 2017 22:28:52
Killie's players were awful as well and look what a proven coach is doing there

Mcinnes has been asked to walk away from the sheep and the job would be his, the ball is in his court. Before ped he would have walked down to Ibrox but has since signed an extension to his contract which his honor makes it hard for him to break.

Jyf

1.) 11 Nov 2017 08:40:51
Who asked him?

King. right derek i need you to walk away from your job i ain't got the cash for compo

Derek . i need to think about it

King ok but sssssshhhhh don't tell any one

Derek ok is it ok if i tell some family n friends i got on my bt list

King ok but only a few . aye rite you are i just stole the fone comfo had king line tapped too lol

Mcinnes wanted it so much he would be there by now still gio van bronckhurst for me but if switzerland put out northern ireland i can see michael oneill getting the job

2.) 11 Nov 2017 09:09:45
I don't know who asked him kaymer but my info is sound. Do you really think we have done nothing in the last couple of weeks? Sent us your CVs and we'll have a look! No, our No.1 target was and is Derek Mcinnes but I don't think it is going to happen, do you?

3.) 11 Nov 2017 09:35:24
The news this morning is that they haven't spoke to anyone yet. They have been assessing cv's and discussing it internally but no managers or clubs have been contacted

4.) 11 Nov 2017 12:26:05
I heard the situation is he wants to come but it won't happen until end of next week start of the following week regarding compensation discussions with Aberdeen, so they can put McInnis on garden leave over the back to back games with Rangers. This way he won't face them straight away while they search for a new manager.

5.) 11 Nov 2017 13:32:26
Jyf, i don't want it to happen, regarding delboy mcinnes becoming our next manager! Like i've said previously, if it was to be him, i'd back him wholeheartedly, but imho there's better candidates available to us, with no compensation money required! Don't rule out graeme murty getting the nod!

6.) 13 Nov 2017 13:43:01
supercoop who is better candidates? eck - no chance ruined rangers last time and he came into a worldclass team!

has done nothing of note since

pardew mclaren preudhomme just naw as they don't know us or our game in scotland!

rangers need a man to steady the ship, get us beating the rest the same way celtic do (with ease) and then sign one or two real tallents to make us a much better side and we will be challenging before we know it.

i just wish the board would huury up and appoint the man that most Rangers fans want in

Ally Mcoist to become the next Crystal Palace manager, my source, an person.

Jyf

1.) You would know, your his agent lol

2.) If he is looking for a lift down I am avalible any time any day 24/7 lol

3.) If its true, I'lll give him a lift there myself

4.) It would be great if he went, I thought I had imagined this. The prospect of losing our fantastic manager to Crystal Palace would be fantastic for the club.

I was speaking with a Jambo friend and he was very upset at the thought of McCoist leaving Rangers!!!

5.) Seriously you do not have a source this time next week we will still have ally here and you will be still clutching at straws absolutely no chance of that happening

6.) They couldn't afford his wage demands lol

7.) Stiv65 I think you right this time lol

8.) Mcoist will be lucky to reach xmas in this job

So the bbc believe that the last 8 or 9 games of the season make no difference to the outcome, well where is the point of playing them? Next season should be a 30 game season (apart from us, we will play 29), that way we can do away with the dead rubber games at the end! What a nonsense article this is.
P. S A big well done to the 1872 lads on their complete victory over the rag that is the record and mail, what a humiliation that is for them, bordering on criminal if you ask me. The article is a must read.

Trying to justify the award of a tainted title. BBC Oirland at its best. Don't you just love them? Lol.

The news came just a day after Rangers released their dossier of evidence against the SPFL as they push for a vote in favour of an independent investigation on Tuesday at an EGM of clubs.

Deans, whose club votes against the plans to end the lower leagues, described the last few weeks in Scottish football as an "utter shambles" and added the club, along with other frustrated by the process, will now consider its options.

"The handling of this entire situation has been farcical ranging from the decisions made by the SPFL board to those clubs who have, what could only be charitably described as, misled and deceived, " Deans added.

"The principle of 'do no harm' to Scottish football during the virus was thrown out of the window a long time ago and the decision taken today will cause harm to many clubs - Falkirk included. "
So are the spfl now going to have a go at Falkirk who have said basically what we have said only they are just realising that trust is in very short supply in Scottish football. Misled and deceived, very strong words.

Jyf

1.) 09 May 2020 20:26:39
Let me just start by saying I fully back the need for an independent investigation into the SPFL either to expose wrong doing or to clear people’s names.

However can everyone on here stop being so hypocritical about wanting what is best for Scottish football. Some of the comments on here about boycotting games ( been the same chat since 2012) or going to England shows people don’t really care what happens to teams in Scotland. Just be honest a lot of people only want this investigation because you believe in some way Celtic will be implicated.

When you were spending 10’s of millions on players and running away with leagues and the SFA were delaying players registrations you didn’t care ( and I challenge anyone on here to honestly say you did) . It is only now when you feel hard done to that all this rhetoric has erupted. Ask yourself this, if it was Hibs or Aberdeen that where championing this cause and you were top of the league by 13 points do you think your chairman would be so vicarious in their comments.

One final point you can’t really criticise the SPFL chairman for doing a Q&A with himself and then praise the Rangers vice chairman for doing a Q&A on Rangers TV and be asked questions by a Rangers employee. It is one in the same is it not?

2.) 10 May 2020 13:00:34
Mojo certain press asked our chairman The q and a . It was then published on rangers tv so get your facts right.

3.) 10 May 2020 17:11:45
Mojo, you said it yourself that an independent investigation is required. Whether your reasons for saying this differs from Rangers views, or not, shouldn’t change the fact that you recognise there is something festering in SPFL hierarchy. If they’re trying to protect a deal with Sky they should’ve said but, in truth, their actions are questionable to say the least.

They wrote a letter to UEFA a couple of days after UEFA intimated that teams could be excluded if the individual associations didn’t play out their top leagues. In this letter (which was not sanctioned by SPFL Board) they basically lied on two fronts. They said they had been advised by the majority of member clubs that wished to end the season and therefore prize money could be released - the latter being the only way clubs could receive money. Now here’s the rub - why would SPFL/ SFA seek special dispensation two weeks BEFORE UEFA’s meeting during which ‘special dispensation’ principles were first aired? Other points about potential payback to SKY/ BT only applying to ‘null and void’ and the omission to advise member clubs of loans all point to them trying to protect the new SKY deal at the very least.

4.) 10 May 2020 17:20:05
Mmr, its the people are bowing to there leader that we need rid off, the way celtic fc will be implicated is because it was peter lawwell that gave them there jobs, guys that no nowt about football, and mcclellend has worked with and for dessy bhoy, so there are far too many conflicts of interest that will pop up, over they years for celtic fc not to get implicated somewhere down the line, mcclellend etc know they have not got a leg to stand on due to conflict of intersets, none of them can ever hearnabfair case due to it being sgainst the guys that enployed them, i hope we get the go shead for inquiry, because then the can of worms will be opened, let's get everything out in the open, mate.

29 Apr 2020 11:56:36
With the leagues shutting down throughout Europe its time for us to take decisive action in Scotland. The only fair thing to do at the very start, when it became obvious that the league could not restart, was to null and void the season but that ship has sailed and we are where we are. So where do we go from here? Court must be the last but very real option if they are awarded the league and with it our champions league entry. We have to take into consideration the financial implications here, quite apart from the fact that the "winners" will get almost £1 mil more in prize money the potential is there to make £30 mil out of the champions league and any chairman would be negligent if he were to stand back and watch our rivals being HANDED on a plate this huge and unearned advantage. I'm still not sure where that leaves us but surely sporting integrity should come to the fore.

Jyf

1.) 29 Apr 2020 12:06:47
I can't understand why the season hasn't been called over. Playing behind closed doors just isn't football.

2.) 29 Apr 2020 12:47:06
It seems strange that bigger leagues than ours have null and voided they're leagues. FIFA medical officer thinks all leagues should stop. We're getting daily updates on how many people are dying. The SPFL in the grand scheme of things doesn't really matter, does it?

3.) 29 Apr 2020 12:51:11
Your Campions league place, what year are you dreaming about. 2120.

4.) 29 Apr 2020 13:04:58
Looks like null and void is a np goer. even Dutch are having to rethink their decision due to threat of legal action from a number of their clubs. France have gone with league finished with current standings. ( spfl with as is standings ) don't see any other way unless it is played on the park which is getting is getting more unlikely every day.

5.) 29 Apr 2020 13:42:02
Spiers is a horrible little oink, we should ensure he is accountable for his comments, one thing is for sure, he should never be allowed into Ibrox ever again, along with that bitter wee tosser McLauchlin. Keep these rancid poisonous Rangers haters away from our club, we don't need them, they publish lies every time anyway. We shall see how it pans out at the Emergency AGM, even though that snake MacLennan is at it again by suggesting we are stonewalling, these **** need to be challenged, and challenged they will. Good on the other clubs who supported our application for the meeting, i hope more follow suit, they are being blackmailed, bullied and bribed to sweep all this under the carpet.

6.) 29 Apr 2020 13:48:51
Yes "our", tennis, as I consider myself Scottish whoever gets the champions league nomination from the SPFL will be OUR representatives in said competition. Is this too complicated for you? You are actually an embarrassment you know that don't you? If ever you want a fan to fan debate about anything football then give us a shout but we both know that won't happen as you're more in your comfort zone with your big Billy childish embarrassing chat than actually trying to address or even put your real thoughts about the state of Scottish football to others of a differing opinion.

7.) 29 Apr 2020 15:01:19
Get your facts straight Jonny.
Nothing to do with null and void for declaring the season over.
The threat of legal challenge is for European places. 👍.

22 Apr 2020 13:50:45
Well I suppose they are definitely going to be gifted the league now. Achinleck Talbot have been awarded their league despite sitting third in their league, I know the circumstances in that league but come on.

Jyf

1.) 24 Apr 2020 11:27:47
Jyf, how yae doing pal? i was looking at the situ that you've mentioned, talbot. Were 9 games behind the leaders, 9 games can equal 27 points, the same amount of points that we had left to play for, why didn't we get awarded the league, lol.

2.) 24 Apr 2020 11:28:28
Jyf, i assume we would have got the full 27 points from our remaining games, so what's the difference, lol, lol.

21 Apr 2020 07:19:23
Following on from my league reconstruction post below, is easy to find fault in a 14 team league unless it's just play each team home and away, the split causes headaches however you do it, but you make a good point Paulellan. We could have 1/ 4 champions after the first round of games then 1/ 2 champs after the second, 3/ 4 after the third then who ever is top after all league games have been played keeps the trophy until after the first 1/ 4 of the next season. If they are top after the first 1/ 4 then coupled with this seasons 3/ 4 title they will be given, means they will have won 9 titles without any other team winning one but they just can't realistically be called in a row because of the break. This seems to be the spfls preferred option going forward and if we had a vote on it the diddy teams like aberdeen would vote for it (or they could be persuaded to), imagine the street parade after winning 1/ 4 title up in sheep land! I'm telling you this has got mileage.

Jyf

1.) 21 Apr 2020 09:41:48
jyf very good tongue in cheek post.

2.) 21 Apr 2020 09:59:43
They Can’t win the league so the SPFL will award them the league.

3.) 21 Apr 2020 18:44:00
Sky demand 4 old firm games that the big stumbling block as their money is needed.

4.) 21 Apr 2020 18:58:16
Jyf, yip mate brilliant post mate. it has my full backing, and obviosly timmy would agree, as they have now claimed the three quarter league title, yip mate let's get this idea of to eufa as soon as possible . lol.

5.) 22 Apr 2020 09:18:04
I know Paulellan it seems to be the way they want it, if we are top of the league next season with 29 games played we've won the same "title" as they are getting given.

6.) 22 Apr 2020 13:54:34
Jyf, exactly mate, for bye that it makes sense, if you are a celtic fc fan, the current situ has shown me furthermore that they do as they please, every s. f. a, member apart from our man has a season book for parkhead, how can this be a fair way to run a football league?

paul86, would you still have said that if the old firm game had gone ahead and we had won it? We could easily have won that game, if you had given up on the league then fine but a lot of us hadn't. German football is back up and running, and at the very same time as our friends only a couple of hundred miles south are preparing for kick off we are canceling our league and relegating a team that had a fair fighting chance of staying up and awarding a title (forever tainted) to our rivals and no matter how you look at it that stinks. Remember its not all about us this could be a disaster for hearts.
