I just read that myself, My star, that Rangers and West Ham are allegedly battling it out to sign 21 year old current Brighton right winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, who was a former youth player at the Arsenal. 🤔 🇬🇧 Cozier-Duberry done well on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season and seemingly Brighton have already rejected a £5million from West Ham for him. 🤔

What is the difference between making it as a footballer then being WC then being elite.

Is it a case of those who are WC and elite have a natural born gift.

I look at the Bouaddi, Yamal, Rooney. They are and already were WC and elite at such a young age. Is it both mindset and natural born gifts.

Natural talent, but they need to be focused and dedicated to their craft. Look at someone like Alfredo. Bags of talent, but stinking attitude and couldn't apply himself in the close season. Came back so overweight and returning late.
Need to be dedicated 52 weeks of the year and keep yourself fit.

Yep, agree 100%, JFM. Case in point being superstars like George Best and Gazza, to name a few. They had the world at their feet, and succumbed to life's excesses. Georgie Best was relatively finished, aged 27. I'm interested in Micah Richards' comments the other night, when he said that he was "Finished" at 22. His knees gave way, due to, as he said, playing too many games. So his scenario brings up the duty of care factor.

Micah was alluding to Lemine Jamal of Barca and Spain in his comments, and warned of the dangers of burnout in younger players if they have not been managed properly. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are many reasons why some players' performances dip. On the other side of the coin, you have Messi, Modric, and Ronaldo (7), who are the best I can think of as being the consumate professional.

Yeah, I have to hand it to Ronaldo and Messi doing it for so long.
I prefer Messi as a player, but Ronaldo is beast, everything he does is geared to improve his career - dedicated.

Wolves is a great club to perform at and get a bigger move. Many top players start there and end up at better clubs. Wolves are favourites for automatic promotion next season.

My Star, I don't care where he goes as long as he doesn't stay. I also didn't say he'd go to Wolves, I just said they develop more than a few players that end up at top 4/6 clubs in the PL.
