Bit of credit for Naderis performance in 1st half doing exactly what should expect a striker to do, showing predatory instinct to anticipate and gamble on mistake to claim 1st goal, and also with Sterlings he did the same in case the GK had managed to keep it out he was there to react.

Totally agree, and he also had the vision to set up Aasgaard for an easy goal if he had been awake to the player coming from behind him. His link up play and touch were excellent, just hope it's a wee knock and nothing serious.

Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow but nerves will have a big impact on proceedings.
Wouldn't like to be the one to announce the final fixtures absolutely no one will be happy the only thing is that there are 3 teams in contention and unfortunately for Hearts Hibs would hate it to be them to be champions as would Celtic so heaven knows.

It was a bit scrappy but if they didn't win, they get accused of having no bottle. I saw a team that scored 4 in a battle, got another win to put pressure on and go top and keep momentum. Managed to rest Manny and Rommens. Thought Aasgaard's really contributing now at top end and we move on.

At this time of the season, it is all about the 3 points. Yes, we all want to see great play, lots of goals. Me personally, I'd take scrappy 1-0 wins in the last 6 games to win the title.

Scrambled criticism can come win, lose, or draw. I'm glad we won, don't get me wrong, but even with a 4/2 win and 3 points, we can still do better. Don't settle for ok, we won, but keep striving to be better than we currently are is a way to look at it.

Very good three points today against Dundee Utd, but we seem to make it harder than it needs to be!
Think Falkirk will be a harder game, as they are playing well against most teams.
Hope Celtic struggle again, but feel Hearts will not lose.

Thought Aasgaard had a very decent game today. If he keeps that going & a few others do the same, it could be the difference needed. Sterling also had a good game, however I thought Souttar was a bitty poor, which was a shame.
We should still have taken more chances though, again just nae quite clinical enough, but regardless that's 2 games in a row with 4 scored. I'll take that all day long, no matter who scores.

Both goals were the result of a number of errors. Take the first goal.
Moore running into trouble.
Chuki being out of position.
Chuki not making the foul.
Souttar getting the distance between himself and the striker wrong.
Chuki not covering the space inside Souttar.
In isolation it's not a concern. However, it was a little worrying how often poor decision making and positioning from the attack and midfield left Souttar and Djiga exposed.
I don't mind us playing high risk, but if we do we need to be a little more clinical in the final third.

I'm going to focus on the positives from yesterday. Scored four goals, played well as an attacking unit, subs made positive contributions and, most importantly, three points.

Jury is still out on Chuki for me.
Didn't know anything about him prior to him joining but I was expecting more.
He was involved in Aberdeen's goal last week and again yesterday. He reminds me a bit of Aasgaard - does some good things and you can see he has the tools etc but then lets himself down by poor elements.
Hope he proves me wrong, but he's accumulating mistakes and, again, similar to Diomande in that regard.

Difficult to pick out any standouts yesterday. Felt it was a frustrating performance, lots of effort, with occasional bit of quality thrown in.
Defence and lack of protection in front of it is a bit of a concern. Thankfully, DU are very poor, like the Dons. Think any of the top 6 have potential to cause us problems if we don't tighten up.

Watched the game, the one question I ask is have they never heard of " taking one for the team " both goals could have been prevented if they had fouled the player and stopped the attack.
Would like to know what the referee's have against Aasgaard the amount of bookings he has had in the first few minutes is ridiculous.

Miovski's finish today just proves what i've said all along on here ie.he's the most natural finisher we have at Ibrox 🤔 Good left foot finish again today from him and likewise against the woolies a fortnight ago when it got ruled out 🤔I wouldn't mind seeing Miovski getting a run beside either Chermiti or Naderi up front because if he does he'll score goals for me with someone to feed off 🤔He would have scored those 3 that Chermiti missed in the second half today imo 🤔🇬🇧 That's not having a total go at Chermiti but he has to be taking those gilt edge chances and i feel Miovski would have 🤔

He has done well coming on last couple of games, but he wouldn't have scored all 3 chances, no striker would. I also don't believe playing 2 up top is the way forward either. One up top and Miovski can't be a lone striker imo, as Naderi and Chermiti are better at that, but what he can be is a great sub to bring on and get a goal or two and help shoot us to the league title.

Skov Olsen is a waste of a jersey. Offers nothing. Chuckawani was very solid in the middle of the park. The more games he gets, the better he gets. He was MOTM for me. 🫡

I think we look much better when we play two up top. I would play Naderi and Miovski up top with Moore and Chermiti wide. I think Miovski would have had at least a double with the chances Chermiti missed.

I do find it weird that Chermiti can score that overhead kick, and Miovski scores 1 goal and he's a better finisher. He's a bench player for a reason, guy can't even get himself into positions to get goals in this team, biggest flop of the summer imo.

It really doesn't prove Miovski is a natural goal scorer. From where I was, it looked like it took a deflection. I don't think Miovski is up to much at all, and he was a panic buy.
Fantastic time to get a goal when he did, and important goal today for us, but let's not now make out like Miovski is some top class striker because he isn't.

After watching Chermiti's finishing, I'm not saying Miovski isn't the best finisher at Ibrox, but that goal doesn't prove your point in my opinion, Chermiti's poor finishing does.

Dado, I don't think it did change direction, mate. He gave the keeper the eye as though going to put it to the left, then turned his foot into it at the last second. There was a deflection, but he meant to put it where it went.

I've always thought he is our best finisher and have said it way back months ago on here. 🤔 I also think both Chermiti and Naderi are better all round players than Miovski, but up until what I've seen just now both not as natural finishers than Miovski, mate, that's all I'm saying and that's my opinion. 🤔 I can't answer what Miovski is/isn't doing in training to warrant Rohl starting him,
only our manager can answer that.
🤔 It's a different scenario altogether for Miovski playing for Rangers when a lot of our opposition sit in with a low block, whereas at Aberdeen he got the time and space as the opposition hardly played the low block against the sheep thus he scored regularly, and of course against both us and Celtic. 🤔 That's why I'd like to see a chance for Miovski to play beside/off Chermiti or Naderi who both can create the yard or so space for Miovski and I honestly believe he'd score regularly for us. 🤔

Strikers will always miss chances - but we need to be getting more clinical as games drift away if we want the big prize - we always look like shipping goals so, sad to say, we need to be goals up before I feel confident of winning any game.
🤔 We were back to slowing the play down yet again and suicidal passes across back four and getting caught in possession on halfway line - better teams will punish these errors.

Fair enough, Blue boy, from what I seen, I thought the deflection pushed the ball wider than intended and caught the keeper off guard. I also thought it pushed the ball downwards at a faster rate than intended.
He can clearly finish the ball and might well be the best.
It appears the best of a band bunch of natural finishers. It's important not to see that as a criticism, as I thought Naderi played well first half. My comment of poor finishers isn't the same as saying poor forwards.

I'd say Naderi is the most natural finisher, he and Chermiti are the hardest working, and Miovski is a good finisher too, but we've scored 7 goals in last 2 games and still moaning about what we're not doing. We've scored the most goals in the league.
