Kaiser we have won 5 and drawn 2 in the league though, 4 clean sheets in 7 since Rohl took over. so the stats in the competition where we compete against Celtic we have improved massively in. using Europe in your stats doesn't tell the story.

Kaiser its a fallacy that they don't open their piggy bank. Rodgers just wanted more because he doesn't like a challenge. They spend every year but because their recruitment has been equally as bad as ours their fans just want more spent.

I only was thinking of league games as that is the most important this season with Celtic playing poorly as well.

we have 17 from 21 since Rohl started whereas Celtic have 15 from same 21. Hearts have 12 from 21 so we are form team in league at moment (alongside Aberdeen) with our worst team in living history. not too bad really
It is about being realistic here as the fans are negative enough without adding to it.

We could play another striker that gets in behind instead of worrying about playing Dio. I would like to take a leaf out of St Mirren's book and play with two strikers. I thought both of St Mirren's strikers and wing backs were very effective and cut Celtic open.

I think we need to look at other ways to get the best out of what we have. After all apparently Chermiti is the type of striker that needs a goal scorer beside him. Wing backs and two strikers were very effective at Easter Road.

Any starting 11 with Tav in it is dropped points! Danny Rohl was livid with Tav the other night and hooked off after we conceded. Time to move on and regardless of the starting 11 we can all agree it's not of the required standard so we have to get behind the team, grin and bare it and hope for a productive January transfer window.

We've got to win these next two games folks. Hibs will see a chance of getting back in the race with a win tonight so we need to be right up for it to get the win ourselves.

If we can also win at Tynecastle as well then the race for us will definitely be on. Two wins and we cut the gap with Hearts to six points with a game in hand. Big week coming up.

LMAC maybe not a traditional 10 role but for the most of my early support we played 4-4-2.
Arteta was more of an attacking CM than a defensive one.
Unfortunately, none of the 10s we have had since then have not came close to being on the list.

If ye consider Laudrup who played right of a 4 and attacker, as I do, then u would cinsider Arteta the same in that position.

Don't like these opinions pieces. Inevitably given age group posters etc. Players mentioned will be in window last 30 years, no more. Being gers historian many many more, far better players are completely overlooked. Look at nome de plume. Was Mcoist better or same as Jimmy Millar or Ralph Brand, questionable but majority say Coisty because only player know/seen about.

Aphelion, Arteta was a ball playing midfielder for us and not attacking and don't remember him playing that role for Arsenal either.
Laudrup was a winger that Smith sometimes deployed along the front and even as a lone striker, he wasn't a midfielder.

SWS, I've always been a Simon Murray fan since he played for my local team Ross County (those were the days, look at us now rock bottom of Championship and looking for yet another manager).

Unfortunately, I read that Simon fitness/injury problems means he's hardly scored this season - such a shame.
