Miovski's finish today just proves what i've said all along on here ie.he's the most natural finisher we have at Ibrox πŸ€” Good left foot finish again today from him and likewise against the woolies a fortnight ago when it got ruled out πŸ€”I wouldn't mind seeing Miovski getting a run beside either Chermiti or Naderi up front because if he does he'll score goals for me with someone to feed off πŸ€”He would have scored those 3 that Chermiti missed in the second half today imo πŸ€”πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ That's not having a total go at Chermiti but he has to be taking those gilt edge chances and i feel Miovski would have πŸ€”

Agree10 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 19:34:30
He has done well coming on last couple of games, but he wouldn't have scored all 3 chances, no striker would. I also don't believe playing 2 up top is the way forward either. One up top and Miovski can't be a lone striker imo, as Naderi and Chermiti are better at that, but what he can be is a great sub to bring on and get a goal or two and help shoot us to the league title.

04 Apr 2026 19:48:28
Good to see Miovski get another goal, Coops, but we need much more from him. I agree with Storm. Chermiti and Naderi's all round play is much better just now. Gassama, for me, changed the game in the second half.

Skov Olsen is a waste of a jersey. Offers nothing. Chuckawani was very solid in the middle of the park. The more games he gets, the better he gets. He was MOTM for me. 🫑

04 Apr 2026 19:49:04
I think we look much better when we play two up top. I would play Naderi and Miovski up top with Moore and Chermiti wide. I think Miovski would have had at least a double with the chances Chermiti missed.

04 Apr 2026 20:21:14
Florida, yes, Olsen is a mystery and clear as to why he flopped at previous club.

04 Apr 2026 20:23:00
Not doubting what you're saying, Florida Bear, but for me Miovski is the best, most natural finisher at Ibrox, mate. πŸ€”

04 Apr 2026 20:31:02
Agreed. Biggar offers nothing at all.

You could be right, Coops. Enjoy your night. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ 🫑

04 Apr 2026 20:36:16
The deflection?

04 Apr 2026 21:05:53
Give Miovski some credit, Dado. πŸ€” It was a slight deflection but I'm right behind it and it's going in anyway, mate. πŸ‘ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

04 Apr 2026 21:10:45
I do find it weird that Chermiti can score that overhead kick, and Miovski scores 1 goal and he's a better finisher. He's a bench player for a reason, guy can't even get himself into positions to get goals in this team, biggest flop of the summer imo.

04 Apr 2026 21:21:35
Not complicated. Chermiti missed 2 one on one sitters today to finish the game off. No composure, better when he don't have time to think.

04 Apr 2026 21:31:33
Nadiri missed a free header.

04 Apr 2026 21:42:49
You just know when Chermiti is through 1 on 1 that he's hitting it straight at the keeper, he's unbelievably consistent at it.

04 Apr 2026 21:46:55
Sir Walter OBE, calm down with the most natural finisher crap. Only because he scored, and you only came on and said this because he scored the other game, even though it got chopped off. He's not good enough and hasn't been good enough.

That's why he's not been playing. Never mind this most natural finisher at the club. I'll ask you a question, do you think for the past 6 months he deserves to be starting games? Never mind this, he's the most natural finisher over his last couple goals.

04 Apr 2026 21:57:48
I think he is our best finisher tbh, but the goal today took a deflection.
Had a few bad misses to put the game to bed in Aasgaard and Chermiti.
We were terrible at the back, though. They cut right through us a few times.

04 Apr 2026 21:58:08
It really doesn't prove Miovski is a natural goal scorer. From where I was, it looked like it took a deflection. I don't think Miovski is up to much at all, and he was a panic buy.

Fantastic time to get a goal when he did, and important goal today for us, but let's not now make out like Miovski is some top class striker because he isn't.

04 Apr 2026 21:58:49
Paul, there is no point as Inc is gone, as he is Chermiti's dad. 🀭

Fb, I thought Asaagard was man of the match today, best game in a Rangers strip for me.

Coops, Fb don't say Miovski wasn't the best finisher.

He just said the other two all round play is better, which it's not even a contest. He is correct.

Inc, he did miss a header, but he scored. Also, Chermiti just missed 3 chances as he has no composure.

04 Apr 2026 23:59:26
Miovski is great to bring in when they are chasing the game. More time and space etc.
Let's not get bogged down. It's team game win or lose. Today we won, sitting top of the League and putting pressure on other two. Job done for this weekend.
Let's enjoy it.

05 Apr 2026 00:16:07
I think Miovski n Naderi would be a good partnership, btw, I think they're worth a try together.

05 Apr 2026 01:31:56
It wasn't a slight deflection, mate, the ball changed directory after hitting the defender's leg.

After watching Chermiti's finishing, I'm not saying Miovski isn't the best finisher at Ibrox, but that goal doesn't prove your point in my opinion, Chermiti's poor finishing does.

05 Apr 2026 04:01:25
Dado, I don't think it did change direction, mate. He gave the keeper the eye as though going to put it to the left, then turned his foot into it at the last second. There was a deflection, but he meant to put it where it went.

05 Apr 2026 06:23:04
Ok Gersman, let's have it, mate, ie. who do you think is the best/most natural finisher at Ibrox. πŸ€” For the record I'm not basing my comment on Miovski scoring today, my friend. I've always thought he is our best finisher and have said it way back months ago on here. πŸ€” I also think both Chermiti and Naderi are better all round players than Miovski, but up until what I've seen just now both not as natural finishers than Miovski, mate, that's all I'm saying and that's my opinion. πŸ€” I can't answer what Miovski is/isn't doing in training to warrant Rohl starting him,
only our manager can answer that.

πŸ€” It's a different scenario altogether for Miovski playing for Rangers when a lot of our opposition sit in with a low block, whereas at Aberdeen he got the time and space as the opposition hardly played the low block against the sheep thus he scored regularly, and of course against both us and Celtic. πŸ€” That's why I'd like to see a chance for Miovski to play beside/off Chermiti or Naderi who both can create the yard or so space for Miovski and I honestly believe he'd score regularly for us. πŸ€”

05 Apr 2026 06:54:04
Think Miovski is our best option. He goes in behind and can finish. I really can't understand the lack of opportunities for him with neither of the other two scoring many.

05 Apr 2026 07:13:23
Strikers will always miss chances - but we need to be getting more clinical as games drift away if we want the big prize - we always look like shipping goals so, sad to say, we need to be goals up before I feel confident of winning any game.

πŸ€” We were back to slowing the play down yet again and suicidal passes across back four and getting caught in possession on halfway line - better teams will punish these errors.

05 Apr 2026 07:49:40
Fair enough, Blue boy, from what I seen, I thought the deflection pushed the ball wider than intended and caught the keeper off guard. I also thought it pushed the ball downwards at a faster rate than intended.

He can clearly finish the ball and might well be the best.

It appears the best of a band bunch of natural finishers. It's important not to see that as a criticism, as I thought Naderi played well first half. My comment of poor finishers isn't the same as saying poor forwards.

05 Apr 2026 07:51:32
I'd say Naderi is the most natural finisher, he and Chermiti are the hardest working, and Miovski is a good finisher too, but we've scored 7 goals in last 2 games and still moaning about what we're not doing. We've scored the most goals in the league.

04 Apr 2026 19:21:42
We welcome the chase πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ«‘

04 Apr 2026 22:49:05
Where we be after the last game of the season, top of the table. πŸ’ͺπŸ₯‡πŸ’™

05 Apr 2026 10:40:18
For the remaining games, pick the team that is brave on the ball, wants the ball and has the mentality and energy levels to cope with that.

04 Apr 2026 19:13:03
To win this league we need everyone to do their bit least not work hard. The game changed for the better when Chermiti and Gassama came on, energy levels rose.

Great for Naderi to score his first league goal, Miovski and Aasgaard also score Sterling first goal ever I believe

Meghoma Souttar come hi and work very hard,

With six games left we need everyone, we will win this.

Agree10 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 19:33:27
Good post, John. We welcome the chase. 🫑

04 Apr 2026 19:37:12
Thought Aasgaard was man of the match, his best game for us.
Disagree about Souttar, complete scare, and we are stuck with him for another year.

Was Naderi injured, John, do you know? Taking him off, if he wasn't, was strange at HT.

04 Apr 2026 19:59:56
Sure Sterling scored away to Benfica. Tap in at back post from a Fabio Silva shot across goal. If Sterling could stay fit, he wouldn't be near us, absolutely terrific player.

04 Apr 2026 20:17:29
Storm manager said Naderi got injured first half.

Correct, here we go.

04 Apr 2026 20:18:47
I thought Aasgaard should've been hooked at half time. Funny how we see things differently.

04 Apr 2026 20:21:10
Great post, my friend.

04 Apr 2026 20:43:18
A good post, John. Does anyone know if Fernandez was carrying a knock today? I thought he would have started otherwise.

04 Apr 2026 20:55:48
Der, yes, minor ankle knock.

04 Apr 2026 21:26:18
Thanks, John. Hopefully Fernandez is fully fit for Falkirk next week. I think we'll need him. Falkirk had another great result today and will be tough next week.

04 Apr 2026 21:59:54
Cheers John, that answers the hat question. I never seen interviews after game, been watching boxing.

04 Apr 2026 22:00:34
I thought Nadieri was good, as was Aasgaard and Chucky.
Souttar had a bit of a shocker at the back. Djiga wasn't at his best either.
Olsen also looked poor.
Take the 3 points and we move on!

04 Apr 2026 23:30:07
I think Djiga is a nervous wreck when paired with Souttar tbh.

05 Apr 2026 00:18:22
I thought Aasgaard was brilliant as well.

He is getting better, a wee bit at a time.

I think he could be worth loaning out next season and seeing how he develops.

I am starting to like him just a wee bit.

He's got some great flashes of skill and great technique here and there, but I thought today was one of his best games for us, if not his best.

05 Apr 2026 06:25:10
Gassama far better used from the bench as an impact player πŸ€” Proved it yet again when he came on yesterday. πŸ€”

04 Apr 2026 18:58:51
Well done to the lads today at times they make it hard as a fan with stupid goals but with 6 games to go we are right in this.

Beat Falkirk next week then we hit the last 5 matches at worse 3 behind Hearts 2 ahead of other mob but only once this season have all 3 teams won on the same weekend so hoping 1 or both drop points tomorrow

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 19:24:41
I hope Celtic get pumped tomorrow as the entertainment value of the meltdown will be priceless.

04 Apr 2026 22:00:22
Hearts too. 3 cheers.

04 Apr 2026 22:58:12
I expect Hearts to win, Storm, but imagine all the sharks that will be flying about in Storm David tomorrow afternoon if Dundee do the business. 🌊🦈🦈⚑

04 Apr 2026 18:25:00
Another one ticked off, let's hope we kick on and take our chance.

I watched some of the game on my phone in a pub near Kings Cross, the rat something or other, looking out window at Argyle Street, you couldn't credit it.
As if that wasn't enough, a guy heard our accent and started talking to us, his name is Davie Macintosh from Drumchapel, you couldnae make it up.
Us bears are everywhere.

Agree3 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 19:20:06
Is that in Sydney, Bunnet?

04 Apr 2026 20:03:04
Nah, London, 1872blue. Water Rats an old haunt of mine.

05 Apr 2026 11:53:32
Exactly, Parlane, do a good bangers n mash, looks like a music venue at the back.

04 Apr 2026 18:19:57
Every game i see olsen play makes 8 million for cerny look like a steal πŸ‘

Agree10 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 18:35:47
But Cerny didn't want to be here, neither did Sima.

04 Apr 2026 18:35:55
He did not want to join.

04 Apr 2026 18:41:40
The board can't admit it but he's a player for next season. Reminds me a bit of Steven Davis, might be good for the last 4-5 games and he'll kick on next season.

We will sign him on a perm, watch this space, just an option in case he gets a serious injury so you pay more on the loan fee to cover.

04 Apr 2026 18:55:10
I'm just not seeing much energy and drive to be a Rangers winger. Just my imo, but I don't rate what I have seen so far. Hoping to have these words rammed down my throat.

04 Apr 2026 19:08:11
Can't see a situation whereby we sign him, he's not influential enough for that money. Free transfer then perhaps.

04 Apr 2026 19:10:00
@aph and fork, I know that. All I'm saying, it would be criminal paying that kinda money for Olsen. Maybe it's Rangers who don't suit him!

04 Apr 2026 19:15:01
No worries, Laudrup. πŸ‘

04 Apr 2026 19:19:19
Dado, a few say if we win the league we require to exercise the option and buy him.

04 Apr 2026 19:24:11
Maybe Olsen scores the goal that wins us the league.
With 6 matches to go, I'll be giving all the players including Olsen all my encouragement and support.
At the end of the season, obviously the squad will be upgraded in some positions.

04 Apr 2026 19:25:12
John, it is my understanding that at this time the club intend to exercise the option.

As you know, football is ever moving and this may change.

04 Apr 2026 19:41:41
It will be a massive mistake if we sign him on what he has shown us.

04 Apr 2026 20:07:56
Has he been told not to take a man on πŸ€”? - as his first option almost every time is a pass - would like him to attempt more one on one situations as he has the skill, but not always the temperament - so far I would say we can do better for a lot less cash - imho.

04 Apr 2026 20:09:24
This should be put to bed. If you like your wingers to take a touch and pass it back to the centre half, then Olsen's a superstar. If you want your winger to beat players, put crosses in and have attempts at goal, then Olsen is a waste of space. I know what I prefer - he shouldn't be anywhere near the team for the remaining games, a man down.

Gassama is frustratingly inconsistent, but the difference today in the 2nd half with the pace and directness of Gassama was obvious for anyone to see. We have a league to win. Past reputation means nothing. I wouldn't sign him for 1 million just now, never mind 8 or 9. That's the 3rd or 4th time he's been hooked at half time.

04 Apr 2026 20:37:48
Didn't know that, John. That makes winning the league a little bittersweet.

04 Apr 2026 20:58:06
Dado, I'd take it. We can move on if required. I'd prefer another loan. U don't get 40 caps for Denmark if you're rubbish imo.

04 Apr 2026 21:15:59
As mentioned weeks ago, if we win the league, he will be signed for the Champions League. If we don't, we may back out and save the cash.

04 Apr 2026 21:54:00
John, I would sign him on another year's loan. He is a player, but not shown with us so far.

04 Apr 2026 22:02:09
That's true, John, but he may not discover his form. It happens to players. Look at Dele Alli, and yes, I know he had the issues, but players do lose form and don't get it back sometimes.

04 Apr 2026 23:27:22
Agree with a few posts here, I do believe Olsen can be a player. You don't get 40 odd caps for Denmark if yer pish. However, for me, I've not seen enough from him to justify the hefty price tag that comes with him.

I agree, I want our wingers to take folk on, whip in crosses, hit the byline or cut inside & have a pop. Gassama has shown it on occasion, but wingers aren't consistent enough right now. I'd love us to get it right.

05 Apr 2026 00:20:59
I hope to God we haven't taken that stipulation on Olsen. That's a terrible decision.

So if he got a bad injury in his first game, and we won the league, we'd need to sign him?

I can't see that being the case, lads, it doesn't make sense.

Probably, if he plays X amount of games/mins and we win the league, then maybe that would be the case. If so, I'd stop playing him. We can't pay Β£7/ for him on this form.

04 Apr 2026 17:55:22
Seen a lot of negative comments on here today.
I'd like to remind everyone that when Danny took over from Martin we were 8th and 11 points behind Hearts.
Enjoy the night and let's keep hunting.

Agree15 Disagree0

04 Apr 2026 18:25:32
Co2, I thought we were 14 behind when Rohl came in mate.

04 Apr 2026 18:32:48
I agree, CO2.

3 points in the bag, an additional 2 goals added to goal difference.

Performance was good, rotation of players was good, substitutes made an impact.

There's room for improvement, but there always will be.

If I was going to be critical of anything today, it's the midfield two. On the ball they are effective, however, off the ball, they leave us exposed a lot. But I guess that's the risk that Rohl wants to take, and he trusts the team to do it.

04 Apr 2026 18:32:49
Absolutely, so important to keep things in perspective. This seemed impossible when he took over. We were almost resigned to just trying to salvage the season and look to the future but what a glorious change since Danny Rohl arrived. Long may it continue.

Hoping wee Davie can do us a big favour tomorrow. But whatever happens tomorrow, it is now back in our hands.

04 Apr 2026 18:33:53
Possibly Steve.
I just did a quick Google search.
What a turnaround.

04 Apr 2026 18:43:58
Y'all forget nobody expected to win the league at the start of the season, and it was supposed to be a building season anyway. Still can't believe we sacked Thelwell on basically no evidence after 1 window.

We don't hit top form until next season. Wait for the plan to be complete. In Andrew we trust.

04 Apr 2026 18:49:09
You'll always get guys looking at the negative side of things, but I'd rather look at the plus side tonight. 3 points in the bag and top of the league at least overnight. A couple of guys rested after a hard international week for them.

04 Apr 2026 18:55:05
It was 13 and we had no chance of catching up the way that Martin left the team. Players seem to be enjoying playing and actually look like they like one another. That can only be good for the future.

04 Apr 2026 19:04:34
Same can't be said on here at times. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‡

05 Apr 2026 00:39:35
Co2, it's crazy to think we've all, me included, had a moan about Danny over last month or so. He's done an incredible job if we're all honest.

If this was another league and we needed a new manager we'd all be shouting from rooftops for him, but we've got him and we're all guilty of doubting him, mate.

He's doing just great.
