okay folks having a little dig and found out didn't know this until earlier. Rangers can loan 2 more players this season this is due to max 6 loans but Mikey Moore and Meghoma don't count as senior players as they are under 21 so means we have 4 senior loans this season.
didn't know if this was common knowledge so maybe just maybe get in Cameron archer on loan and permanent deal for Naderi. maybe just maybe a loan might appear before 11 as the english window shuts at 7 so there might be some movement somewhere.

Case cheers re update.
02 Feb 2026 18:36:06
I've fell asleep and woke up 2 weeks ago.
02 Feb 2026 18:06:55
Meghoma does count, but you are right about Moore.
02 Feb 2026 18:07:29
Archer might even count as a homegrown association player under FIFA loan regs, 3 years under age of 21 and trained by 1 or more clubs in same association. I think he was at Villa for that time.
02 Feb 2026 19:17:32
Meghome doesn't count as he is under 21. all u21 and homegrown players are exempt.
02 Feb 2026 20:47:18
Cool Angus.
02 Feb 2026 16:52:12
Hoping Remi Wulff can persuade his young starlet that Glasgow is the place he wants to go.

Can u elaborate a bit mate.
02 Feb 2026 17:19:43
That would change this whole deadline day Aph. π€πΌπ€πΌπ€πΌ.
02 Feb 2026 17:22:27
The No6 wee need.
02 Feb 2026 17:36:17
Definitely Dahl would be a great addition.
02 Feb 2026 17:55:07
I'm beginning to now seriously doubt we're going to do any more transfer business this transfer window βΉοΈ.
02 Feb 2026 18:33:45
We don't need another Antman or Aasgaard Aph. This boy any good?
02 Feb 2026 18:39:24
SWS there is still plenty of time.
02 Feb 2026 18:54:55
Coops we've got 4 hours stop being a spoilsportππ€£π€£π.
02 Feb 2026 18:03:02
Not going to happen I reckon
Still waiting to see if we can get the Naderi over the line.
02 Feb 2026 18:55:44
Been feeling that way for a while sws, very disappointed if true, still feel we are short.
02 Feb 2026 19:07:04
Rosto I am going to stop interacting with you.
Antman has been injured and is fantastic
Aasgaard is a victim of his transfer fee and will take time.
Is your only issue with these players the fact they're Scandinavian?
Because we don't need another Scott Wright or Ian black but I will never stop advocating us signing the best Scottish talent we can find.
02 Feb 2026 20:16:46
Bit touchy there Aphelion. I am struggling watching them on a week to week basis and you insist they will be very good players for us.
Aasgaard looked like he'd be decent but is struggling stepping up from League One and didn't cost the earth, big money for us but not massive.
Antman just doesn't look like he has it at all, even his YouTube clips aren't that impressive before he signed. The GoAhead chairman seemed to be gloating about how much we paid for him to Celtic. Red flag in my book.
Scott Wright was one of our worst attacking players in a long time. I don't know why you brought up the Scandinavian connection when I challenged you about players you advocated for and are struggling.
I would normally apologise for offending someone but there is nothing to apologise for here, you appear to have taken offence at a general discussion about the quality of players you have promoted.
02 Feb 2026 20:25:38
And whilst we are on the subject of opinions, Aphelion, I do value everyone's opinion regardless of whether I disagree or not with it.
Where do you stand on the German boy being signed for that large amount of cash? Is he better than Maswanhise, for instance? Your opinion would be interesting here with your knowledge..
02 Feb 2026 23:01:59
Antman played well on debut. Terrible rest of time before injury.
02 Feb 2026 16:48:23
Engels getting bids 20-25mill. So why are we valuing Raskin at 15mill?
Agree9
Disagree0
02 Feb 2026 16:59:38
He's worth what someone wants to pay they clearly see him as a better option than Raskin. Regardless of what we might think about him they got top dollar for players. Hopefully we can from now on also.
02 Feb 2026 17:04:23
2 and a half years older maybe and doesn't score as much even though most of Engels are penalties.
02 Feb 2026 17:06:02
Exactly buddy, Β£25m is the starting bid for Raskin.
02 Feb 2026 17:06:16
Riot mate. Engels is a flop at 11 million but teams apparently bidding that? Unbelievable.
02 Feb 2026 17:07:29
Height.
02 Feb 2026 17:07:42
Paul what is the club valuing Raskin at? you are talking about what the fans think he is worth which has no bearing.
fans value Chermiti at Β£2.50 and Gassama at about the same but both have elicited bids reportedly of Β£13M and Β£10m.
02 Feb 2026 17:09:32
Crazy money how he can have doubled in value during his spell at Celtic is very strange.
02 Feb 2026 17:14:46
It's nuts how much we undervalue our players. If Engels is worth that then Raskin should be valued at least Β£5m more than that.
02 Feb 2026 17:20:24
It's cause we sell too quickly maye
Place opened a it 14m bid then 17 then 20 with add ons to 25m
We'd have told them 15 when they bid 14 and took it.
02 Feb 2026 17:36:42
Engels going for more because they paid far more simple man.
02 Feb 2026 17:41:30
Engels is Mcgregors legs, if they sell fir 20, sell on fees etc etc, how much do they actually get? Would hand Hearts the league.
02 Feb 2026 17:59:37
Angus, been all over the media Rangers would deal at 15mill nothing to do with fans value.
02 Feb 2026 19:19:01
and what are the club asking for the players I will ask again. media we have seen know sfa about very little.
02 Feb 2026 15:09:00

02 Feb 2026 17:19:10
Chermiti shouldn't be an outside left he should be left outside.
02 Feb 2026 14:51:59
If we get this big striker in, does anybody think Chermiti could be an option on the left? I'm sure I seen someone on here suggest it but can't find the comment.

02 Feb 2026 15:00:46
worth a punt GMW got to try something different.
02 Feb 2026 15:01:10
Not from the left but def deeper to link up!
02 Feb 2026 15:04:35
Yes, he should be left on the bus.
02 Feb 2026 15:08:54
Could be good on the right obviously not what he was bought for but a good option.
02 Feb 2026 15:14:31
I seen that mentioned earlier on, perhaps by ASA. I wouldn't have seen it however, that's not to say it wouldn't work. I like him as a focal point up top but his lack of goals may go on to give us a headache.
I know he got some grief yesterday but honestly, what else could he have done with no service.
02 Feb 2026 15:21:45
Why not he's definitely got pace, strength and can spot a pass, just not clinical enough in front of goal.May take the pressure off the lad and show us a side to his game we haven't seen yet.
02 Feb 2026 15:29:59
Great idea GMW let's go for left hand side of the subs bench, or better still the dressing room.
02 Feb 2026 15:42:38
Over Moore and Gassama?
02 Feb 2026 15:44:11
I think the best option with him is to bite the hand off of who ever offers anything for him.
02 Feb 2026 15:44:19
Chermiti was a midfielder when he was a kid, but got a growth spurt of 6 inches in a year and the Lisbon academy put him up front.
When Joelinton arrived at Newcastle from hoffenheim, he was a number 9 and he couldn't score. Eddie Howe came in and saw his ball control and turned him into a box to box number 8.
Is this what Rohl could do with Chermiti. He often comes back very deep in games.
02 Feb 2026 16:03:46
I think it would be worth a shout as a trial. He's actually shown his crossing can be good and he can beat a man when facing them up. Potentially could bring a chaos factor like Sima did off the left.
Not what we signed him to do but Gassama hasn't been cutting it sadly so what's the harm in trying it.
02 Feb 2026 16:16:54
Can you imagine haha he can't even trap a bag of cement never mind play on the wing.
02 Feb 2026 16:34:46
If Naderi lives up to the hype we drop Chermiti 1 back. 2 holding mids with Chermiti in front.
02 Feb 2026 16:49:00
Chermiti does get told by Rohl to stay up front but has complained as he doesn't see any of his teammates apart from a distance and nobody passes or talks to him π.
does anybody think that Rohl will have asked him to link up like that for the benefit of the team. okay he isn't scoring but the team have been. isn't it just about winning no matter who scores. after 1 poor draw, which was a point won imo we can't just change everything.
02 Feb 2026 16:54:43
Bornabear, I'm clearly watching a different Chermiti from you, he has very good ball control.
02 Feb 2026 17:07:10
Yes Angus, I've noticed that too, when Chermiti is pressing he looks over his shoulder to see who is else is really pressing but they are mostly "sitting off". No wonder he's not setting the heather on fire.
We were very lucky to walk away with a draw.
02 Feb 2026 17:08:10
How do you know what Rohl tells him to do Angus?
02 Feb 2026 18:02:11
My star his second touch is a tackle.
02 Feb 2026 18:15:13
Storm I don't know and more to the point I didn't even say I did (it was sarcastic).
However if it is SO OBVIOUS to everyone that Chermiti isn't in the box then I imagine that Rohl has noticed that and would tell him to be there.
if he isn't telling him that then my assumptions are that he is either happy with the way he is playing or Chermiti is ignoring the instructions. I am asking questions of why the player is playing in the way he does and not being told to play differently. If he is being told to play differently and isn't why is he not being dropped.
it is called an inquisitive mind as I am interested in why things happen or don't happen. no-one on here knows the answer but it is better surely than just saying he is rubbish.
02 Feb 2026 21:27:52
Chermiti has excellent ball control.

02 Feb 2026 15:02:41

02 Feb 2026 15:30:30
Whatsmyname, but signing has stalled until we find a replacement looking like Nedari in now. One he signs Danilo will be given green light. If not Danilo will be back.
02 Feb 2026 15:33:10
Nac Nijmegen, not Breda budπ.
02 Feb 2026 16:06:04

02 Feb 2026 17:58:40
Jackboy, superb mate.
02 Feb 2026 12:55:40
Really good point by guy on the radio commentary yesterday about our attackers ( which I probably won't be able to explain properly). As much as we don't create enough for them which is a problem, they don't look to put themselves into positions to get chances. They seem to lack strikers instinct being reactive not proactive waiting for chances rather than anticipating them so don't look to gamble on chances coming, or being ready for mistakes or knockdowns.
Top strikers are always in there ready to pounce on errors or looking to get in position for a chance.

02 Feb 2026 13:12:14
Kasier, that's why I have been saying that's what super ally said as well. You need to get in to positions.
02 Feb 2026 13:16:51
we don't get balls into the box for them to pounce on.
02 Feb 2026 13:17:43
Exactly kaiser, just look at Chermiti position when Bajrami looking to cross.
02 Feb 2026 13:27:10
100% correct any decent striker should be bursting a gut to get in the box.
02 Feb 2026 13:53:17
At one point yesterday Big Manny was further forward than our strikers.
02 Feb 2026 14:09:54
Kaiser, there is an element of that I agree. I have said a few weeks back I want Chermiti to be between the sticks more often as he won't get chances from dropping and linking up play. however we need more than him to be there. Rohl yesterday said we didn't have enough players in the box so he sees it is needed as well. we had 2 sitting MF most of the game yesterday so need them to get forward.
only 4 of 21 crosses reached a Rangers player yesterday. 8 didn't make it into the box. so only 9 other crosses might have reached an attacker didn't. so we need to have better quality going in and more of that quality.
still argue that if our forwards go to back post that is where the ball should go so I think a bit of both. can't disagree though with the pundit's main point.
02 Feb 2026 14:24:46
Totally agree Kaiser, how many times I've seen our strikers not make right decision of front/ back post or even just stand still, good strikers always seem to be in right place at right time, some of it coached but it's a natural sense of knowing ure team mates and finding space etc, super ally had it in abundance and you hear him talking about strikers all the time even in EPL who just don't make the right runs etc, a think it was easier when everyone played two upfront and knowing yer partner.
02 Feb 2026 14:29:11
At one point yesterday we got someone wide but we had no one in the box and Hibs had 8.
02 Feb 2026 14:37:31
It's only Moore who will truly play on the shoulder of defenders - Chermiti rarely ever runs channels and what we really need are TRUE wingers getting to bye line for cutbacks which seems an impossible task to usπ€π₯Ί.
02 Feb 2026 14:57:27
Geesado, it's a chicken and an egg one. The strikers are no where near the areas they should be for the creators to put the balls in. We can argue they don't get the service, but the amount of times we've to turn back or try take the extra ma on because there's no striker in the 18yarder is criminal. Striker should be playing off their last man, not sitting 15yards deeper than the attacker with the ball.
Yes at times service & final ball is very poor & decision making is questionable, but a lot of it comes down to trust in your strikers & anticipating their movement.
02 Feb 2026 15:43:59
Our strikers don't get enough service but also don't get into right position, Chermiti especially he's never an out an out striker, folk slated Dessers but he got at least 5 chances every game he had a knock of being in the right place or created chances for himself, yes he missed a few sitters, but by God I wish he was still at the club, goal return was actually really good, hope Naderi has the knack or can create chances for himself as we badly need it.
02 Feb 2026 16:52:06
so just a question. where is the right position in the box if we never get a ball into it?
02 Feb 2026 17:20:23
Actually being in the box is a start, making runs to front or back post, dropping off or darting runs to create space, I don't see much of that from Chermiti, but in his defence he's not a natural striker for me.
02 Feb 2026 19:23:44
Yesterday Skov Olson stretched at the far post to knock the ball across goal i'm 6 yard box and we had not 1 player in the box.
02 Feb 2026 12:27:16

02 Feb 2026 14:07:31
Saw that last night and thought the same thing. Physical enough and would cause some mayhem.
02 Feb 2026 14:10:38
The Mexican club signed him for USD12M 6 months ago and he's walked out on them after an alleged racist incident towards his children.
I'd imagine he could end up in some sort of legal wrangle were he to try and sign for a new club.
Liked him at Newcastle.
02 Feb 2026 14:12:31
