And I’m sure if another club comes in for him before the window shuts he’ll be off. No one’s said he’s definitely staying till January, obviously though at the moment there is just no interest in him.

Ulsterblue, NO ONE forced Sakala out (a player by the way that a few weeks ago everyone was saying should be sold and now for some reason seems to have become a world beater in some folks eyes) and Wright is NOT refusing to leave, the move just broke down due to what they were offering him. Scott wright is rank rotten as a player but he gives his all and has a lot of pace. That’s it in a nutshell.

Stormtrooper, I know not everyone did (I was talking in generalities really to make a point) . In fact I myself would of been fine with him staying, he did offer something and his stats were decent. The fact is though that if we want to progress we did need better overall and getting £4m for a guy we picked up for free, wasn’t going to play that much and who’s value would only drop after this window was sensible business. Everyone agrees we can’t have situations like Kent or Morelos again. We have to have a good player trading model and move players on when the best offers come in. The Sakala sale was good business and the correct decision. My point was that absolutely no one ‘forced him out’ and that Ulsterblue was talking inflammatory nonsense.

Flb, in my book fans who boo the team during a game have no place. Booing has never motivated anyone in any walk of life so subjecting a Rangers player to it will only result in a loss of confidence and therefore a poorer performance.

If we play badly, let the players know after the final whistle if you must.

Surely our manager should have been talking him into staying with us . As for Wright I don`t hate him, I just don`t rate him . it's part of the management job to give the best advice possible to a young player, he wasn't forced anywhere but the 4m was a great return for rangers, wright is still here and deserves respect imo.

Sakala generated £4m and so long as we can recycle those funds for a better player then it was good deal for both us and for Sakala. He was a likeable guy but not the level that we need. That said, I feel that he was better than Wright. Other than making up the numbers in Europe I just don't see him featuring for us this season. We need to ensure that players with a future at the club are given game time. He isn't one of them.
