John27,Copland or storm. anything on club bringing in defenders? after watching that I fear the worst. balogan going off aswell doesn't look good.
1.) 29 Jul 2023 18:36:06
RFC Balogun yefeko cantwell Barisic and couple others had a sickness bug.
2.) 29 Jul 2023 19:49:19
really, need too get defensive
re- enforcements, totally lackluster, n if that's the way forward, i really fear, the better teams will burst us.
3.) 29 Jul 2023 19:56:10
I thought it was the 4 who did not travel who had the sickness bug? Balogun injured again, no surprise there .
4.) 29 Jul 2023 20:11:41
Sakala and tom lawrence also had the sickness bug John27.
5.) 29 Jul 2023 21:21:49
john have we dropped intrest in the panzo boy, though he looked a solid option, also young enough too have a good few years out him.
6.) 29 Jul 2023 21:30:36
Manager said four left at home, and it spread to several players involved today.
7.) 30 Jul 2023 02:33:24
Balogun had cramp according to the manager so not injured.
8.) 30 Jul 2023 09:03:02
Is Beale getting excuses in early ? sorry but I don't want to here it.
Excuses
Having said that it's a friendly game I will not judge Beales record on these games. It's a worrying sign yes but as long as they get it together for start of season.
I'm starting to fear we let a better forward go in colak than dessers looks slow and wants too many touches lammers looks a real good signing so far but again it's only friendlies we all remember matondo start in friendlies and also tilman didn't start the best.
Long ball in behind our LB and RB has been a weakness for years don't know why people acting like it's a new problem been targeted as far back as young boys games.
Having seen Genk the other day qualifiers are already a worrying prospect
? We are ok v killie and restore a bit of optimism.
9.) 30 Jul 2023 09:03:42
Bring back the tennents 6's as we would win that easy now.
10.) 30 Jul 2023 09:54:55
Harthill lol loved that tourney as a kid was bizarre likes of woods playing in it and getting injured in early days.
11.) 30 Jul 2023 15:00:02
Agree gofor, I liked colak, he would of gave a different option more direct and will score goals. Dessers might not be fully fit but up to now not impressed, slows play down as you say wants that extra touch, hopefully we will be proved wrong.
12.) 30 Jul 2023 18:02:07
Blue dreamer I think he is second choice and hinges on Davies moving.
15 Jun 2023 18:36:15

1.) 15 Jun 2023 18:46:46

2.) 15 Jun 2023 19:47:09

Not a rumour but was wondering on what people's thoughts would be if Cesc Fabregas was in the running for next Rangers manager? Think he's doing a cracking job at Como.
1.) 23 Apr 2025 00:32:33
I'd we could get him he'd be top of my list that's for a sure.
He'll go onto premier league no doubt in a year or so and then onto Barcelona.
He's destined for the Arsenal and Barcelona jobs imo.
2.) 23 apr 2025 05:52:58
what better way to the epl than rangers?
3.) 23 Apr 2025 06:13:17
Cesc Fabregas was an outstanding midfielder and seems to now be a very good young manager/ head coach ? Can't see him being in the running or even coming to scottish football to be Rangers manager Rfc ?.
4.) 23 Apr 2025 06:19:44
Do we really want a manager that will up and leave a year later.
5.) 23 Apr 2025 07:55:02
Save us sacking him when not ten points clear at xmas.
6.) 23 Apr 2025 08:15:13
I absolutely don't mind if the new manager leaves in one or 2 years, by that theory he would have to be successful to be able to up and move. If that means winning the league again then of course whoever does that is always going to potentially move after a couple of seasons. This is the modern way and we need to deal with it.
7.) 23 Apr 2025 08:41:14
Now that's one out of left field. Would be a cracking appointment imo, and his English is excellent. No problems with communication.
8.) 23 Apr 2025 09:17:07
Como spent the most in their history last summer.
9.) 23 Apr 2025 09:17:59
Do follow Italian football and he does have them playing good football.
10.) 23 Apr 2025 09:21:11
One of the favourites for Leicester.
11.) 23 Apr 2025 10:20:19
Forever
SG did it.
16 Mar 2025 15:38:34
I said on here last week that I couldn't see where igamane was worth 20m. i was right he's worth 40m.
1.) 16 Mar 2025 16:25:39
?? ?.
09 Feb 2025 20:30:47
Say PC gets the sack. who would everyone's choice be? Who could take that group of players forward?
1.) 09 Feb 2025 20:45:36
I said before, I think the most likely are Russel Martin or Muscat. But in my personal opinion I think Gattusso or the wild card of lopetegui as his stock is down at the minute.
2.) 09 Feb 2025 20:51:47
Haven't a clue really as everyone is a gamble. But it's Patrick Stewarts job to have a shortlist of suitable candidates surely?
Muscat sounds good with playing style, bodo manager highly thought of by a few on here. What I do know is that I will not enjoy watching PC from the main stand for the foreseeable.
3.) 09 Feb 2025 20:52:07
Muscat but feel that ship has sailed. would also like knutsen.
4.) 09 Feb 2025 20:52:39
Steven Gerrard ???.
5.) 09 Feb 2025 21:16:15
Naw he's a long-tailed mouse like thing??? Too soon stevie???.
6.) 09 Feb 2025 21:16:48
Kjetil Knudsen for me but would he come?
7.) 09 Feb 2025 21:21:34
Hes not getting the sack which is bonkers.
8.) 09 Feb 2025 21:39:51
Who would take it we didn't have the money to spend in Jan transfer window so if PC is sacked along with his assistant and compensation paid bang goes any summer transfer kitty so who would want the job knowing he has no chance of strengthening the squad but still expected to be successful.
9.) 09 Feb 2025 22:40:21
??? fork ????.
10.) 09 Feb 2025 22:56:09
We are a shambles from the top to the bottom at Rangers, people need to realise that we're going nowhere fast, all we do is service loans, the wage bill cut will cost much more over many years to get us winning things consistently. Other teams with a fraction of our Income over the past 4 years are now outspending us in getting players in.
There is no such thing any more as 'Rangers Class' that is unless it's 'Hellish'. I don't know how or if this situation can be fixed, but I personally don't have any confidence that it will ever be sorted.
12 May 2025 21:39:29
If it is it's a massive gamble. Don't know much about him other than he's carlo's laddie. Would rather SG, I don't want SG in at all.
08 May 2025 23:13:35
Wsl think it will be all about sustainability, high earning out of contract players leaving, out on loan players who have done well get moved on reduce wage bill, cash in on assets who's stock is high and reinvest in targets who have potential.
I think Raskin, igamane and dio will all be away in the summer, others could also be moved on like Dessers and yilmaz. Reinvest the money back into squad whilst injecting some of their own money into transfers and commercial interests to increase revenue.
That's what they done at Leeds…sold 5 top assets for over 100m and reinvested 30/ 40m into playing squad. The key being with the money spent they got a few gems who will make them money. This mob are very shrewd when it comes to business and their model works.
We might not see instant success or millions spent but they will revamp our whole youth and scouting structure to find diamonds in the rough and good deals. Then when we are operating properly, the right money gets spent on the right deals. That's my take on it anyway, but i might just be talking single fish. ?.
08 May 2025 19:35:16
Was it not said on here the new head coach won't take the job until takeover is complete?
03 May 2025 12:10:23
JasonGriegg…. whether you think it's a narrative or not 1 in 9 trophies is sh**te. Yes 55 was massive but he bailed on the club as soon as he could after conning the fans saying he looked happy. Almost relegated Villa whilst spending a fortune and has done heehaw in Saudi. If he is to be the new manager then it wouldn't be a popular appointment imo but would still get my support. Just think this is a fresh start and we should be looking to move in a new direction.
03 May 2025 09:53:48
If that's the case SWS then it's a poor decision by the new owners. SG was unsuccessful one trophy in 9 is a poor return and that decision would instantly create a divide between the fans. Surely they don't want to start their tenure like that? I've said this before, it's a new era for the club, we should be looking forward and laying foundations to be stronger and successful in the future, not looking to the past. If it's true mate then it wouldn't be very inspiring. SG was idolised, then left like a thief in the night as soon as the EPL came calling.
17 May 2025 22:00:33
100%… that decision today was a farce.
16 May 2025 23:43:38
EHL if and it's a big IF…. investment in the playing squad is done wisely then it is achievable without breaching FFP or damaging the clubs rep…it does mean koppen etc will need to be shrewd and spot on regarding recruitment. There will still need to significant money spent, think it can be done though.
16 May 2025 19:04:41
Fair point Angus. I just don't see it mate, he has done well in some games but in others he's looked lost. Maybe it has been the players tho. The way things are it seems like a couple of managers have knocked us back and some are stalling, who would you have in the dug put next year if it came to it SG or BF?
16 May 2025 13:16:15
For all that Ferguson is Rangers through and through he just hasn't got the tactical knowledge to take us where we need to be, his time in charge reflects that. As much as a legend he is I don't think he will be our next permanent manager. Fair play to him for stepping up when needed, a true Rangers man and I hope the club offers him a role in some capacity but it time for radical change and to move forward as club. Hopefully the new owners can take us there and back to where we belong. On top.
14 May 2025 07:59:46
Think there will be a lot of interest in Ballard. He's got a bright future ahead of him. Can see him moving to the EPL as I can't see Sunderland beating Sheff United in the final.
