Why is there always so much negativity from the press re Rangers? Are there any news media that have a positive slant on us? Over the weekend, we had impending financial crisis, some of the board were glad to see the back of SG, we will lose potentially 4 players to AV, C.V. will interfere with GVB appointment, the low valuations of Rangers players. Compound all this with the dross coming from pundits whether ex Celtic players or failed players with Celtic allegiances, hopefully the new manager etc will keep them quiet for a while.

In Seville this week, fly home on the 17th. Nothing really apparent re fanzine etc here. Banners on lamp posts but nothing much else, really surprised. 34 degrees today so for help the horses when they arrive. Let’s all be sensible and try and not tarnish the club’s reputation again. Be safe.

What’s does Ferguson know about managing? We need a proven manager with a potential long spell at Ibrox. An inexperienced manager wouldn’t last long and then the cycle would have to start again.

I would expect both clubs to pay dearly. Rangers could potentially lose all the back room staff and even Ross Wilson to Newcastle, I would expect millions in compensation. We may also lose quite a few players also, some to Newcastle and others. It has always been understood that no man is bigger than the club, and we can always rise and develop again, but the loss of all these resources would be difficult to replace even with the MILLIONS from Newcastle.

Every area of the team is at fault. We have conceded 6 goals in two games, never been known last season or first part of this season. We aren’t scoring goals either. Midfield could be blamed as they are the common denominator, but my thoughts are GVB tactics. Full backs are better going forward than defenders, so sitting back and trying to defend doesn’t work. So disappointed 6 points ahead now 1 behind, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We wouldn’t have gone 3 down using SG tactics.

We have no money to spend apparently. To get an internationalist who is out of contract, not over the hill and we could afford his wages would be difficult.
