We thinking they have possibly found something underhand Possibly?

Stig need to be careful how we say things. What I take is Cavanagh sacked with immediate affect

That is very unusual not to work a notice.

In the line of any job, gross misconduct is an immediate sackable offence. Although it needs to be investigated before the sacking.

My understanding of employment law.

I have no knowledge that this is the case and I don't think anyone will ever find out why. And that is the way it should be.

I will say though, the Americans not messing about anymore.
They have staked their money and reputation by taking over us. They will want success and a successful running club

very pleased they are showing they can make the difficult decisions when it's needed.
Have to applaud them.
Especially if they done an investigation first making sure no stone left unturned before a big decision is made

Think its been something bad as we have not had anything from Thelwell stewart on sacking either they have a deal not to speak about it so cavenaugh won't release why sacked or they intend to go lawyer route and look for comp.

Either way response or no reaponse will tell us a fair bit.

Davie Weir would be the obvious choice in
My eyes to take over from Thelwell, I know he's just taken on a job at Strasbourg but I firmly believe the Board will do whatever it takes to get the appointment right this time and Cavenagh has said that the replacements might have notice to serve.

Just because Thelwell and stewart were wrong uns? doesn't mean the others are. should be assessed maybe purdy to go as he would have had a big say in recruitment and Thelwell jnr too.

But everyone else should be judged on job they do maybe some won't want to continue job after Thelwell exit and leave on own without comp.

Cavenagh did say new guys may be in work just now, Weir is the right guy. Purdy and young Thelwell also need to go.

As far as Stewart is concerned try the blazer on a chimp and you won't see any difference, might actually be an improvement. Will certainly sound better.

Strasbourg, Stevie, affiliated to Chelsea, so if he does well, there's a path there to a top team. For me, i don't think he'd have any desire to come to us at the moment.

Sky reporting Stewart and Thelwell have both been sacked. Any rumours on who will replace them? I'd like to see Koppen back as DOF or head scout and remove Purdy too.
