Heard yesterday that Ben davies wife had sepsis and not cervical cancer, aware sepsis can be fatal, but considering davies is in the squad for tonight, can we assume this is him ready to kick on and the wife is on the mend. If true shocking on behalf of the posters who were spreading the c word around.

Arfield, the posters who were doing it probably did so as his wife beat all the odds and beat a terminal cancer diagnosis a few years back which she wasn't meant to beat. She was very ill, but managed to make a recovery. Unfortunately, people were putting 2 and 2 together because of her past diagnosis.

One player alone is never going to be the answer, Davies clearly has a lot of crap to deal with off the pitch right now, previous sickness aside sepsis has long term affects. Give the lad the time and support he needs so he can in turn provide it for his family. Can only wish them all the best fortune, buzzing to see him sign for us.

Yes I hope so. I lost my youngest son, my partner and father in 9 months last year to cancer. Rangers to me and my love of music gets me through. I will never accept a non trier.
I sincerely hope she recovers.
That’s why I get so angry at times with people behind the scenes who don’t tell us what is really going on.

Money at football clubs isn't all for signings. We've spent 13m so far. I'd rather have cash in the bank so we can make future signings without having to sell players than spend all the money we have then are stuck going forward.

Huey, please give me a breakdown of the £13m spent. I would also be interested to know how many of the players signed and the money spent are now first team regulars. From what I can see the answer is Nil since Tilman was Loan to buy and Lawrence was free.
No Marque signing again, we have brought in a lot of money in Transfer Fees, we have made a lot of money from our European run last season and we are set to make a lot more from the champions League and so far our squad looks weaker than last season.
We will have a good indication of how the season will end in terms of the League after Saturday and we will get an indication of how we will progress in Europe over the next couple of months.
We are fortunate that GVB is an astute manager but he can't perform miracles and for me Parks and his Board have let him down badly this summer just as they let Gerrard down last summer.

El ghazi has looked decent at times for Villa, seem to remember him scoring a few when they were trying to avoid relegation a couple of seasons ago . He`s a goalscoring winger with a good left foot and can play either side. If Villa want rid of him and the price is fairly cheap he might be a good option, certainly better than Wright, Sakala and what we`ve seen of Matondo so far .

John27 we are in the mix for sanderson whos on loan at Birmingham a different club to ours, he's a cb. the fact Birmingham have signed a cb from Burnley when we are linked to an on loan cb currently at Birmingham, could be coincidence but that's what always happens when your about to lose a player you get one in to fill the space. So why would you be interested in clubs that we may sign players from? that's your dilemma John27, if your not interested in rumours which always involve other clubs btw, then it's goodnight from you on a rumours forum. Lithium what's your source? Really hope this is true, the guy is an absoulte goal machine just checked his stats. Rated 9m euros on transfermarket and the quatari team payed 6m euros for him, only 6months left on his contract though so could get at decent price, but there will be a few teams looking at him, and what wages will he be on playing for a middle East team hopefully not out our budget.
