The mail saying this morning that Ajax HAVE made an offer for Bassey.

Normally I'd say great move for bassey but they have just signed a left back for 9 million which to me says they want him to continue as a CB not his best position if you ask me should be making sure his next move is as a left back. But I'll still take the 25million ?.

Don't know if anyone agrees but I think we would be mad not to take Ellis simms if the price being quoted is correct. Anywhere between 300k and 500k. If you look at his goalscoring record through his young career he's been phenomenal.

If you actually do your research on the lad and what coaches have said about him instead of "aw I seen him play twice last season wasn't great" come on lads a bit of research goes a long way. He's absolutely eclipsed any scoring record of Robbie Ure. Is the hyoe around this lad because he's tall? I mean he's OK. Another Ryan Hardie. Just ok.

Agreed paul, would love to see the boy do well with us but he needs to sort out his fitness and get a move to a club and start scoring goals, with the amount of young players we will have coming through in the next season or two there is going to be a lot of competition for places.

On paper the squad is strong enough to compete for the league. That's if we don't throw away leads against rubbish teams in the last minute. But let's be honest, when it comes to champions league and competing well we are probably a little short. Even if some fans don't like it, Ross Barkley makes us stronger in the middle of the park. How people can think Lundstram and Barkley wouldn't be class in the middle of the park baffles me. Would be an excellent signing.

Totally agree with John come on guys we are europa league finalists look at the quality teams we have beat. We don't need to rush this 17 year old boy in, we have quality. But I also do agree he looks quality and belive he will play in our first team.
