I am amazed at times on here when some are screaming for the youngsters to get games. When they are played and have a nightmare then their slaughtered. What ever happened with getting behind your team and support them. Yes we have had some shockers, yes we failed in the transfers but remember we don't do walking away. Good result tonight. GVB be backed in next window and let's move on.

I know this is a rumour page and before people try and shout over me. Is it not time for McInnes to stop being mentioned with Rangers. He chose to stay with Aberdeen stating they were a better option. His time is over. As for Callum Davidson if that's the boards choice the it's time for the board to go. We all know the real reason why SG left the board refused to back him and spend money after we won 55. GVB need time and money to build his own team with players he wants. We have an injury prone team that the board seems happy with. Any previous board would have got rid of these guys and also the guys who have done their time Davis McGregror Arfield etc. Until we start getting the same TV money as the English and a board who wants Rangers to progress and get better each year we will always be saying the same things. If this board not up to it maybe a takeover is best.

If it was not for mcgregor we would be getting worse results than just not . same as arfield an davis in midfield etc you can't sound out 1 man or 2 men etc like some do kent n alfie. borna n tav. kent n tav . mclauchlin n sands it is the FULL SQUAD not just 1 or 2 players here and there same as most or half shouting about gio it is from top ( board) to bottom who are to blame for poor displays bad results not backing gio when we had run in el to final plus qualifying for champs league.

kent morelos have let us down badly imo,
the manager doesn’t seem to know what to do, same subs same time
liverpool and napoli home games both involved dreadful bad luck, something you don’t need when playing against the worlds best

Plenty said McGregor would organise the defence etc, TT.
And yet we collapsed second half with him in goals against Liverpool.
He made a horrendous error against Motherwell.
And was again in goals when we dropped points against Livi.
I was against him getting a new 1 year deal - and nothing I’ve seen has made me change my mind.
I believed McLaughlin deserved a chance - and was obviously proved wrong.

Of mcgregor and mclaughlan aren't good enough why has Robbie mcCrory never been given a chance gio has been blighted by injuries and if the players can't perform and he has no other alternatives surely he should be working on other ways to set the team up. Arfied played his 3rd game in 7 days against livingstone but played on the right wing. Never going to work.

From the Motherwell goal one would think it was obvious McGregor is finished. He has been a wonderful servant to the club but never should have been offered another contract. We need a goalkeeper and centre half Goldson out for long time and should never have had his contract renewed only reason he stayed was nobody else wanted him. Kent needs dropped no heart no fight. Afraid to say would also let Steve Davis and Arfield and Jack go as. Before people start shouting at me time for us to have players who can play and want to play for Rangers. Hearing we might be in for Jake Copper also heard from some journalist that story sitting on burner that if GB is sacked SG will be welcomed back don't know how i would feel about that.

No. He done his job.
Did he save us at Ibrox?
No. We got hammered with him in goals.
Was he suspect at the Motherwell goal on Sunday?
Yes.
Is he showing his age when he attempts to stop balls going out for corners?
Yes.
There was a story doing the rounds after 55 it would have been his last season if fans had been in the ground.
2 seasons later he is still classed as our number 1.
I still believe he shouldn't have been given a new deal in the summer.
Legend status is hard to attain.
Very easy to lose as we start to focus on his errors.

We do need a keeper and a centre half. Macgregor or Mcglauclin are not good enough as a Rangers no1. MacGregor can still pull off incredible save but over the season is now liable to mistakes. We need some commanding people in the defence. We need someone as good as or better than Hart. We won't win this league without Goldson, Helander, Souter. There must be a half decent CH around.

Greegs is gers greatest keeper and will hang up his gloves when he good and ready he player for ranger55 for years since he was young ok he left big deal still our greatest keeper and over all those years he made what about 5 to 10 mistakes out of playing hundreds of games for the club personally about 10 mistakes in many many games ain't no bigdeal mclauchlin played less and prob made more mistakes than greegs.

So if u see ball going over. u follow it out if it looks like its going near thr goal u tip iy over the bar. It doesn't dip in the last 2 metres that much. Its impossible. He thot it was going out and left it which makes it a howler.

If he's not even trying to reach it he's thinking its going out. Its a goal so that goes down as massive error of misjudgement. If he thinks its anywhere near the goals, he takes few steps backwards and tips it over the bar. Its as simple as that.

McGregor had a howler yesterday, he is past his best no doubt and we should have addressed the situation in the summer but we didn't.
Despite McGregor being on the decline he is still the best goalkeeper we have available and is rightly our number 1. My concern is further down the line this season will he be able to play every game to the same standard? Be lots of midweek/ weekend fixtures due to world cup break. maybe you can pick certain easier games to give him a rest? Who knows.
We need a new No1 in the summer who is high quality, you should always look to improve on what you have and if McLaughlin and McCrorie are not good enought o replace an ageing Allan McGregor NOW then they are not the standard of Keeper we should have as our number 1 when McGregor goes.

Greggs should be his last year the club need a young keeper who can d8stribute the ball and start the play. He's been a great servant but is prone too to many mistakes along with his brilliant shot stopping.

GVB did not bring the Turkish lad to Ibrox Wilson did, as a replacement for Bassey. GVB was not allowed to bring in any of his choices because no money according to board. Blame the board not GVB.

There is no denying McGregor is a better keeper than McLaughlin however he is not getting any younger. What is apparent is we missed the boat by not signing anyone. GB never got any support from board they were too happy to give new contracts to older players who should have left the club. Also muck about with players who don't want to play for us, its simple you don't want to sign new contracts then you don't play.

Have to say once again lack of concentration and poor defending cost us again. Morelos should be fined for that ball he gave away showed no commitment throughout the whole game. Tavernier still can't defend and the way Goldson was brushed aside. What we need is another Gough or Butcher. I know a lot will go against me but time for Tavernier to go he will never be a defender. Don't get me started on Ryan Jack. If we don't sign anyone then you be just as well handing Celtic the league for the next few years.
