John 227 could you tell us who the 3 are mate, for me we have 2 options we go for someone that knows European football but knows nothing about our game, or we go for someone that knows the Scottish game but might not excite the fans, me personally I would want someone that could win us the league before anything, I know European football brings the money but I want to see some silverware.

Graham Potter is my first choice. He brings everything that is missing at Ibrox just now and would bring back the style of football that has gone missing under Beale. If he is out of reach and we can’t get him my second choice would be Ralph Hassenhutl. Premier League and European experience. They are the best 2 out there just now in my opinion ??????.

I agree winning the league has to be the priority, if we do that we get into the Champions League group stages and the finances are guaranteed.2nd place only get qualifier and we know how that works out. We won`t get Potter, that is dream land, we can`t afford his wages and we can`t afford to back him in the transfer market.

Potter is my no1 choice. Him and Billy Reid who knows the Scottish market. I don’t think he would need to pay back anything as it’s my understanding Chelsea paid him 13million lump sum rather than his full contract. He is looking to rebuild his reputation after Chelsea and i don’t think he is that far out of our reach. Look at them when they appointed Brenda first time around after he was sacked by Liverpool.
I don’t really know much about Knutsen or the AZ manager if I am honest.

given the league has gone unless pacific shelf exploads i have payed £600 for a season ticket and the chalenge lasted just over a month instead of january or febuary or maybe march, all that's left is the cups given this situation why not let steive davis take over the team until a proven manager takes over for the start of next season it will save some money as davis is still on our books and i think most of the players will have a lot of respect for him given his great career.

I highly doubt it’s true. The record has picked up on one report mentioned in Greece, no quotes from anyone, no direct mention from anyone in Scotland let alone connected to Celtic. More likely his agent has offered him to us and Celtic like usually happens, or the person writing the article in Greece even got mixed up between us and them (not that I think we are actually interested in taking him or will end up signing him either)

I'll be honest I wasn't overly keen in the idea of palma, didn't actually think his clips were that impressive, felt he lacked pace and trickery for a winger and seemed to be more set piece / dead ball type player, also his stance with agent with moving seemed like a player I'd want to avoid, I could be totally wrong and understand that but guy just seems like trouble, sure he signed a big deal and not long after demands move and talks of EPL, if they were real quotes his agent comments filled me with player commitment issues.

Spend the money on the defence, we are stacked with attacking players now, bit more time and they will click.

No really clue'd up with Palma but he's been close to signing for 3 separate teams this window after apparent bids was accepted, has been sent home twice over last few years with Honduras.
Before Aris he was close to signing for Braga who turned him down last minute.
Can we maybe just maybe come to the conclusion that after all these decent sized teams turning there noses up after chatting with him might actually mean something.

That’s my thinking John. I think the winger type has sailed. Matondo, for me had shown enough to suggest he’s going to offer us something this season and no need to spend anothe £3-5m on anyone as been suggested between gray/ palma.
We can spend that money elsewhere or put it in the bank for January.
