Panzo deal almost done, transfer markt saying probability of deal is 84% which from my experience is always accurate when it comes to rumours. Cifuentes will be here on 1st of July.
Dessers seams to be main target, not seeing any concrete data on Maja, Traore, Douvikas or Krstovic except from Traore confirming on social media there has been interest.

On davies I think everyone is being way to harsh don't think he was as bad as people making out.
Sure a really bad error in Celtic game but can people say they haven't seen our captain Tav make serious errors in old firm games?
In the run up to Celtic fixture Davies wax ones of our better defenders and people say he's not good at defending crosse neither is goldson or Tav.
I think it would be a mistake getting rid of Davies right now maybe January would be better give us time to see if other signings are going to work out.
And this is coming from someone who told everyone we way overpaid for Davies at start of the season.

Gofor, I keep hearing rumours that Davies has found it difficult to settle in Scotland, family issues mentioned. I have no idea whether this is the case or not but if true then that could certainly have an effect on his game. As things stand at present he is certainly one of our better options but I agree that we paid too much for him.

I think a blend of players is required and is the way forward - nothing wrong with good out of contract English based players complimented with a few foreign signings too - I am getting a bit disillusioned with Wilson and where he casts his net or is he being told to only fish in certain waters? Again we have slept at the wheel allowing so many players out of contract, to get over the hill and bringing in cheap injured options or past it big named loans - I hoped we learn our lesson (meaning board and scouting staff) so hope Beale changes this direction and pronto or we could have a good few wilderness years ahead as them across city won't rest on their laurels.

The Free Transfer Market if you can secure the right players is perfect irrespective of whether it is the top English Leagues or Europe. The one thing about the Bosman ruling is that it has created a market for quality players outwith the normal transfer market.
That said, to get the best and the right fit you still need to spend serious money and you need to know the characteristics that you want and need.
Our current squad lacks a winning mentality, fight and leadership. The winning teams of Waddell, Wallace, Souness, Smith and Advokatt all had this, not to mention a lot of skill!
Good luck to Mike Beale and Wilson to secure that quality of player these days!

However TJRFC you rubbishd Mathew Ryan saying he only joined Copenhagen in the summer and he’s moved to AZ Alkmaar this window already. Just because a player has recently moved to a club/ signed a contract does not mean they won’t move again.
