Got some info this morning that Ruud Van Nistelrooy has been interviewed for the managers role, not one i'd be keen on myself really as let's be honest, he was out manoeuvred by GVB in the champions league qualifiers lol but just passing on what I've heard from a good source.

RVN was offered a new contract and turned it down and left the club, he wasnt bagged, still wouldn't have him as our manager though.

You can defend Gio all you want for the brilliant Euro run and winning the Scottish cup, especially beating the other mob in the semi . You can`t say that he narrowly lost the league though, we were 6 points in front when he took over and ended 4 points behind, but that was only narrowed from 7 after the league was settled. Too many draws killed us that season.

Told that the hold up with the Dessers deal is that rangers want a centre half from Cremonese as part of the deal, wasnt told who in particular but i know that we were linked with luka lochoshvili from there not so long ago. Thought it was worth passing on.

@gofor not entirely sure mate i think it would probably be an outright buy if its tied in with the Dessers deal, possibly rangers looking to capatalise on Cremonese getting relegated and the bigger players wanting to get out the door. I do like a loan to buy myself as well, means we dodge the bullet on ending up with rubbish like Sands ??.

I don`t get that, why would us signing Dessers be held up because we are also interested in another player from the same club? Are we saying we don`t want Dessers if we can`t get the other guy? Are they saying we can only have one or the other? Or is it a buy one get one free deal?

Have it on good authority that Michael Beale has visited Barcelona in the last few weeks to speak to a player (most likely Pablo Torre from Barcelona B) who we have previously been linked with. This comes from a source that's a rangers employee so i have no reason not to trust him as he does sit next to me at ibrox ? time will tell, however him and Luis Palma gives me a bit of faith that we are looking outwith England for better value.

Pablo Torre has been in named in the Barcelona first-steam squad to face Espanyol tonight. He’s part of their first-steam squad which tells you how highly they rate him. Apparently they’re looking to send him out on loan for one year with no option to buy. Even if it is a one year loan Rangers should be all over this because this lad represents a quality of player we normally couldn’t access. Rangers would be a great option for him in the sense that we can guarantee him first-steam football and European experience.
If we get players like Torre and Palma in we have every right to be exited about next season.

If Leeds are anything to go by, they will likely sell a few of our assets this summer when the stock is high, probably Raskin and Igamane so that they can give the new manager some money to work with. That's just an educated guess based on what Leeds done though as i know F all lol.
