Here we go, folk jumping on the ‘our board are awful, shocking, sack the board’ guff already. So let’s look at things properly. Prior to the window (and with lots of injuries) under Clement and with the players we had we, win the league cup, cut the gap in the league and qualified for last 16 in Europe. This window we have brought in 3 creative / attacking players. Players that clearly the manager wanted, and we’ve managed to do so in very creative ways to get around spending much money in this window which won’t have been easy. The reason we’ve had to do this? NOT because the board don’t want spend, or ‘dip their hands into their own pockets (which actually, by the way, isn’t the way a board/ club should do things) but in fact due to FFP RULES. In any season clubs now have to prove they can break even financially and as we spent more than we brought in in the summer, in terms of tranfer dealings we are already in the red. Yes other revenue streams will help to balance that over the course of the season, but we can’t continue to over spend in this window and risk potential UEFA sanctions.
Look at Newcastle, on paper probably the richest club in the world due to Saudi backers, yet right now can’t buy anyone and in fact having to sell players so as not to get into trouble. People need to realise the way the business of football works before slating the club.

The thing is GoFor, at the time I was passing on comments from Norwich fans I know - which is kinda the point of this page.
As I'm bored tonight I Googled Kieran Dowell Lightweight and it brings up 2 Norwich Fan Forums - The Pink Un and Grand Old Team - where there are threads dedicated to Dowell being regarded as light weight.
One fan even describes him as custard cream legs - which made me laugh.
No wonder so many decent posters are leaving when random comments from months ago are brought in to discussions about other players in some strange attempt to undermine other posters or score points.

EHL I agree with you on dowell but my point is we need to stop doing this to each other I’ve notice a big difference in some posters john227 use to be quite reserved but now also jumps to discredit people it’s getting that way with everyone sometime we need to just stop realise we are all rangers fans and just want best for club.
I’ve had many posts of opinions on here that’s turned out to be right and ones I get wrong I put my hands up but people say the mr I told you so and stuff. Been told by a close friend that we are unlikely to see much movement incomings wise if any now. as a few of our targets have not materialised or been priced out of in this window and PC unlikely to sanction purchases and loans of 4th or 5th choice targets and will opt instead to promote various youth players and re asses the squad in the summer.
Few outgoings expected to trim the squad. One or two may come in on loan to buys if 1st team starters are sold. Very underwhelmed and deflated if this is true. Feels like we are handing them the league again and not backing another manager when they need it.

There is being backed and there is being backed. In the close season after we won the league I do not believe that Gerrard was backed. He asked for certain players, (reputedly), he didn't get them and we then signed drastically inferior players and we lost the league.
We should have strengthened when we were on top. We didn't. The Regime that was in charge at the time, Chairman, CEO and DoF have now gone. They are also the ones that to all intent did back Beale, (albeit that there were significant outgoings to compensate), and they appear to have got that wrong as well.
Thankfully they have now gone!
Let's give it time to see what sort of support is provided for Clement and what quality of player is recruited.

Watched a bit of footage of this guy, takes a belter of a corner…. if we let him take over on tavs side as they are inswingers that most of his assists come from. Some good vision and through balls.
However mls is so slow and players get so much time on the ball it really is hard to look bad there. May be a reason some of the players we have took recently from there struggle with the extra pace and tempo here.

I'm of the opinion that people can change, but not everybody. What this guy said was wrong, and although he admitted the offence, who really knows if he's truly sorry for it, or not.
My issue, and it's a massive one, is how players like Tav, Goldson, Sima, and the rest of our black players will react to him? If there is any, and I mean, if, there is any chance of his presence at Ibrox will cause disharmony amongst our black players, then he must not be brought in.
If the rumours are true, and there is interest, then it might be a good idea to consult with the likes of Tav, Goldson etc, to gauge their feelings, or it might turn ugly.

Kai Wenger had had a “unacceptable comment regarding his family” said to him by Bobby woods and in response he called him a racial slur in German that’s anti Asian. Feel like some people here are under the impression he’s went out his way to racially abuse Bobby woods. Bobby woods went for his family so Kai Wenger in the heat of the moment attacked his ethnicity. (Not condemning what he done but feel like that’s a crucial part of the story that needs to be heard) .
Definitely feel like what he done is very much forgivable and I’d take him on a free in a heartbeat.

People jumping in on this guy, he had a fight on the field his opponent abused his family and he responded with a remark that is racial in todays world but was probably used in newspapers twenty years ago as a word for Asian people, he has apologised and taken the punishment, listen he could be as bad as Hitler but to call the boy a Racist is stretching it on the information given, the club will look into every inch of the boys life if interested and if they decide to go for him then it’s good enough for me.
