There is passing interest in him. For the home grown quota and forest also need to sign a new center back which they are in the market for.
He has been discussed but depends on a number of factors, so at the moment it's unlikely.

Great Post Nacho. I grew up bad old days when religion mattered most. Well we're a modern club where standard football uppermost. He's outwith gers scope but I saw El Buff genuflect on numerous occasions and nobody gave a damn which thought wonderful in a modern, upwardly moving club, when previously, our own stupidity would have chased down Edmiston Drive and hung in Copland Stand. We're looking at Brazil boy and not one word on religion. Wonderful. If current squad moves us into areas of Europe never before ventured bringing up religion height of stupidity.

So after the anticlimax of last night and the obvious note that's been discussed here, it would be interesting to find out what conditions PC made to the board in transfer windows as he is aware these players are just not good enough. Lammers I thought would come good but he had no real game awareness and if he is the top no.10 in the squad then we are in trouble. The defence in particular is a bombscare and the midfield is in dire need of an on form Haskin. Hopefully these conditional clauses in PC contract will allow some decent buys in Jan. Sima also has gone back to Bambi football style ?.

Well aware this is a tense time for club and supporters but for me the board are successful business men that (should) know the criteria and taken advice on the next manager profile - I don’t think they want the club to fail - what would they gain? They have a wide spectrum of candidates and hopefully one of these will meet the requirements - maybe take more than 1 interview.
Agree a better interim team is needed and someone like Mr Warnock or similar on a month to month mentor capacity would make sense and create a decent handover to the incumbent manager.
On another note someone posted about a split dressing room - that is an issue that does give the fear and that would explain in part the performance level. Game at the weekend will be like walking on egg shells again.

Agree on the wake up call and from what we’ve seen of PC he won’t be repeating a performance like that again in defence - get Balogun in to replace Goldson
Injury list is growing but it’s the same with everyone else. It’s a bump in the road that needs to be flattened soon as - time to redeem with a performance against Benfica.

It’s all smoke and mirrors just now. Saudi reporter v Belgian reporter biggin’ Clement and what he “wants” to do - no one really knows the decision he and the club make until it’s official. The positive is he is a wanted manager so must be decent. Muscat is not a bad second choice tbh but there will be concerns - no potential manager is without flaws or risks, let’s hope the panel have taken that on board. We need a good manager for the next 3-5 years with a solid business model.
